cannot believe the absolute shitshow that was the season 6 finale of homeland. it blows my mind that there was a room full of writers somewhere that thought this was a good idea. I won’t be watching any more and for me the series finishes somewhere in the middle of 4.12

One of my favourite characters died today , and I’M NOT OKAY !!!! OMG why did they kill Peter Quinn ?! He died a hero but still, he deserved so much better !!! God, I hate them so much ! I’m done with this show, Homeland will never be the same without my precious Peter Quinn :(

They gave no evidence of Quinn being dead in the same way they gave no evidence of him being alive. So idk, it’d be kinda ridiculous for them to come next season like “Guess what?? You thought didn’t ya?” but I wouldn’t be mad at it. But if this is his actual departure. The character definitely deserved way more reverence, even if he sorta already got it kinda at the end of the last season, he deserves more.

Such a waste of potential

Ok, I’m not normally one to write something here. I usually just go on Tumblr to see what’s happening in the world and to my favourite characters in various series. So, you may be thinking, why am I posting something right now? The answer is simple, Homeland’s season finale.. I haven’t been watching it for some time now but I’ve always checked on my precious boy Peter Quinn. What happened during the finale was not ok. I have always thought that this character deserved happiness or at least some peace in his life.. And that what the writers put him through would not matter if they did him justice in the end. That did not happen as you may all know. I believe that Peter Quinn, and of course the amazing Rupert Friend, deserved so much more! The season finale showed that the whole history and progress of this beloved character was completely wasted.. and for what? The show will not gain anything, on the contrary, they will lose a lot. And it’s sad.. 🙁
