Ava seems to take an interest in Beatrice, ignoring her rough n’ tumble entourage in favor of getting to know their delegated leader.

I made a mistake.

I have a crush on a nun.

This isn’t a bit or a joke in waiting I literally have a crush on a nun, let me explain.

My grandma is slowly starting to go, she’s currently housed at a catholic hospital and I’m one of the last few people alive that care for her. I spend everyday before and after work at the hospital with her and today was the weirdest day. A nun came in, something I hadn’t seen before and said she was here to provide prayer or whatever I needed. We talked for awhile and I couldn’t help but stare into her auburn eyes. She was very sweet and of course me being the fucking idiot I am asked her if she had ever heard of warrior nun. Of course she hadn’t so I explained the show to which she was highly entertained by the premise. Then I made *the mistake*… I asked her if she was apart of a secret society of ninja nuns and no joke her immediate response was to deadpan and say “If I told you the answer then it wouldn’t be a secret.” She got up with a smile and left giggling to herself and now I’m swooning. WHAT THE FUCK IM LITERALLY LIVING THE DAMN REDDIT AVATRICE FIC RN WHAT US WRONG WITH ME

Here’s chapter 2!

“Last thing before we head inside the main hall to eat, please remember that we have a safety meeting in the morning that everyone must attend before you do any other activities.” Beatrice risks a glance and catches JC grinning and giving her a thumbs up towards the back of the crowd and it helps push her through. “Camila is now going to teach you your first camp call, thank you.”

There’s a small bit of applause as she moves over for Camila to come up. As she does she finally takes in the rest of the kids and counselors in the crowd, and her eyes automatically find Ava, who is already staring right back at her. Ava gives a shy wave in Beatrice’s direction and she dumbly waves back.

Ava has changed into a dark green crop top, and short jean shorts. She has her head propped up in her hands and she’s staring, openly staring.

Beatrice’s mouth feels like the Sahara suddenly, public speaking has never been her specialty. It's probably that, she also probably spoke very fast, she needed water, she needed to get out of here.

Imagine them training for this number and how Ava instructs Beatrice (because I imagine Ava to be the professional here) how to move and touch and-- Beatrice being the one holding Ava up because she's physically stronger. And there's so much trust there, they are each other's life lines.
