Still worried by Norah’s questions, Sam took in a deep breath to try and calm her nerves. As much as she wanted to try to talk to her about Sabrina, but it wasn’t something that she could do. She just had to grit her teeth and lie. Just pretending like it didn’t really matter and that there wasn’t any history between them. When Norah started talking about her pool cleaning business, Sam nodded, grateful for the change of conversation. “But… Weren’t you in high school when you were doing all that?” Sam asked, confused. “I’m not saying that what I did was good, but… that’s a little concerning. You weren’t being taken advantage of, were you?” She said, frowning a bit. For all of Norah’s bravado, her past really worried her.

Norah raised her eyebrows when Sam turned the questions onto her. “...Yeah? I mean, I started the business the summer before I started high school, but I also was held back a year in elementary school, so it’s not like I was too young or anything,” she said, not getting why Sam looked confused. “It’s not like you did anything bad - ” Norah started, but then Sam kept talking and Norah cut herself off.

"What?” Norah asked, not getting the question. After a moment she shook her head with a slight smile. “No way, dude. I got sex and I got paid for it. It was a kickass job. What’s wrong with any of that?”
