as you say, marc missed a lot of 2020 due to Arm. this coupled with social distancing and vale kinda flopping meant they probably didn’t interact much, if at all. 2021 came with a drop to the petronas team for vale and a few more missed races for marc—crucially, he missed valencia (vale’s last race) due to diplopia, and now they fight through podcasts and bitchy soundbites god bless
