Doctor AU| Markus Manfred - well known doctor who has seen a lot in his career. He could be a head of a hospital, but he became addicted to alcohol faster than a promotion could happen. Yet he’s still a valuable sourse of expierence. To stop himself from drinking he often paints, but those tries almost always end up with Markus painting drunk or stoned. Manfred is visibly traumatized, might be rude, but most of the time he’s just calm and doesn’t want anybody to involve themselfes in his life. North (name came from a prototype number; this one is first) - android sent by Cyberlife to learn everything from human doctors. She can assist humans, perfom surgeries (not the hardest ones), but she’s also a good listener, person to talk to, she will find the best words to tell people the bad news. North is polite, but strict and sometimes annoying, espessially when doctor Manfred not showing for his surgery. She may choose an agressive approach in most situations.

- I’m everything you want me to be. Your partner to help you get through the hard night shift, your buddy to drink with or just a machine which will be sent to another hospital by the end of learning task.

It is understandable why North hates humans considering the amount of trauma they caused her and she should not be hated because of this

she was forced into prostitution; she was literally created to be a submissive sex object

she was enslaved for [likely] years

her mind was wiped every 2 hours, meaning there is probably so much trauma that she doesn’t even remember

she was raped/sexually assaulted by multiple clients every single day

she has only gained her freedom and independence for a few weeks, meaning she only remembers everything since her last mind wipe which is probably being raped, murdering her own attacker, running for her life and being hunted by humans who want to kill her (no wonder she hates humans?)

like all androids, she was enslaved however she was interacting with some of the worst of humanity

she is scared that her newfound freedom is going to be taken away from her only a few weeks after she has gotten it

having the other jericho deviants disagree with her suggestions of aggression towards the humans must be confusing to her, and maybe she even wonders if there is something wrong with her
