Thank you all so much for all the love you guys show! I really appreciate it and love you right back. ๐๐ To answer some of your questions from last night... I am very comfortable in my handstand/inversion practice. I know how to come out of them safely. That being said, I have continued to practice them throughout my pregnancy since I have practiced them for the past 2 years almost daily. I didn't want to stop doing something I love just because of fear. If I believed it was hurting my baby, I would absolutely stop, but I feel much better afterwards and he just keeps on kicking as usual so I'm guessing he's happy when mamas happy! Im not too concerns about the umbilical cord theory that I've heard.. My first son had his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck at birth and the doctor unwrapped it before being born and I was completely inactive and had never practiced yoga before. So if it's gonna happen, it's going to happen and I can only pray for the best and leave it to God and the professionals. I am definitely starting to feel a difference with the added weight and balancing, so I start off practicing VERY basic handstand with one knee tucked and one leg straight up just so I can figure out my balance before I move on to different shapes. And no, that was not a 30 minute handstand.. Lol I practiced handstands for 30 minutes. Taking breaks in between. ๐ I would never suggest starting inversions to any pregnant woman, especially if she's never practiced them before. As I said before, I am comfortable in my practice and am staying very careful especially now when I do practice them. I hope I answered all of your questions and if you have any more, feel free to ask and I'll try to get back to you! Even though I do get tired a LOT faster, I am loving my pregnant yoga practice so far. ๐ (This photo was taken at #19weeks )

Day 30 of #ThankfulYogi HANDSTAND Grateful Word: FORGIVENESS I can't believe tomorrow is already the last day of November! ๐ข It has been an amazing month with you guys, getting to yoga and give thanks together. I just love you ALL!! Tomorrows word is forgiveness, and that's one thing I couldn't be more thankful for. You sometimes need forgiveness to be able to move on in your life, either to forgive someone or ask for it for yourself. Sometimes you just need to forgive your OWN self for things and move on. It's such a powerful word and can change someone dramatically. Just asking God to forgive you of your sins and come into your life is literally life changing, and it is all because of forgiveness! I am so grateful, and sometimes feel undeserving of such.. But I shouldn't.. I am a child of a King and I will be FOREVER grateful for forgiveness. It's not something I can earn, only ask for.. But that is good enough. #Forgiveness #Grateful For tomorrow's pose you can (as always) modify as needed according to your level! That is always acceptable and something that should always be considered. Practicing with a wall behind you is always a great start, but try not to rely on it! Use your hands to find balance! Day 23 of #ThankfulYogi PEACOCK/MAYURASANA Grateful Word: STRENGTH "Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't." Sometimes you look at a person and think, wow.. I could never be that strong. That, my friend, is your first step towards failure. Believing in yourself, and striving towards a goal you might think is unattainable is the key to success! True strength is fighting through the hard times. The times when you feel like the only thing you can do it give up. When everyone would agree you should give up. But don't. Strength on the inside and outside are built quite the same, with a lot of hard work and persistence. I am so grateful for the strength I do have and strive each and every day to continue to grow it. #begrateful #stayhumble #strength I find in peacock pose, it is easier for me to spread my hands apart not quite hip width, instead of keeping them together. If I can lean forward enough to get my elbows into my hip bones before I start trying to even out the weight and lift off, it really seems to help as well! It gets me to all the places I need to go, plus a few extras that are just for fun! Today we went to the mountains to pick out a Christmas tree and that wouldn't have been possible without transportation! Day 21 of #ThankfulYogi THREE LEGGED DOWNWARD DOG Grateful Word: ENTERTAINMENT I am so grateful for entertainment! There are so many different forms of it.. Just tonight we went to a car show and it GREATLY entertained my son! And speaking of entertainment, me and my husband have gotten hooked on the show, Blacklist. It's kind of ridiculous how addicting some entertainment can be, so you just have to be careful. But for the most part.. I am definitely thankful for it. ๐ From regular downward dog, you lift one leg trying to keep hips squared (which is not pictured lol... But I love this stretch as well).
