I don't have to worry about what's going to happen in 2019, my God already has it planned out. I just need to submit to His will and be a willing vessel in His perfect plan.
i want more roadtrips this year. more time spent at the ocean. more trips hiking up mountains. more time falling in love with the earth, and laughing with people that make me feel at home.
God is the only reason I made it this far.
“Refuse to be a halfhearted, lukewarm Christian. Fall so in love with God that everywhere you go, you overflow with a spiritual boldness of love and compassion that draws people to the joy of life in Christ.”
— Craig Groeschel, Altar Ego
I desire to get married someday. I desire to have a family of my own. But I have to continually remind myself that although it’s good to desire these things, I must always desire God more. I must always desire Jesus before and above all things. I cannot lose focus of Him in the process. There is more to this life than being married and having kids—and it is knowing Christ personally. Even if I get married someday and have kids, even then I must still desire God more. He is the foundation of everything—the beginning and the end.
“Jesus dined with sinners, but he didn’t sin with sinners. Jesus lived in the world, but he didn’t live like the world.”
— Rosaria Butterfield (via alistairradley)
I am constantly amazed at the fact that God is with me wherever I go. God is with us wherever we go. God is with you wherever you go. He’s in the hills, the valleys, the deserts, the springs. He. is. everywhere. And we can talk to Him whenever. And just be with Him. Always. Mind. blown. God is so good, y’all. So, so good.
Sometimes I feel like I pray too much that I’ll annoy God. But then I think, “I’d rather get to Heaven and have Jesus say, ‘now there’s a familiar voice’ than have him say, ‘it’s nice to finally hear from you.’”
This hit me right in the heart
The purpose of my life is to serve Christ
