I keep thinking about Bran as a dad, because fuck that albiest ‘disabled people can’t have children’ shit.

Like… he’s got a permanent lap to sit on. Bran in a council meeting or something bouncing a gurgling toddler on his knee. Bran with four children just burrowing into his furs when it’s cold. Bran holding his youngest child while his oldest hangs off the back of his chair and pushes them down a hallway really fast. Bran with a child on each knee and more at his feet telling them stories. Bran just sitting there very seriously having a conversation with some lord while a child is pulling his hair and poking him in the face and Brienne and Podrick try not to laugh.

He’d be so good at telling bedtime stories holy shit??

He’d know where his kids are at all times. He’s like the ultimate helicopter dad, and yeah maybe sometimes it’s annoying, but he just loves them so much and wants to protect them and if any of his kids ever need his help, even if they’re on the other side of Westeros, he’ll be there. If they ever have problems they can just go to him and he’ll know exactly what to do or what to say.

They like to hide under his chair and jump out to scare Tyrion. He will never rest again.

everyone wanted to shat on ed sheeran’s scene in game of thrones but it was such a NICE scene. arya is immediately distrustful of them because they’re lannister soldiers but once she sits down with them, they treat her with nothing but kindness and respect. they’re singing and talking about how awful king’s landing is, lamenting on their homes and their loved ones that they left behind to fight, offering arya their rabbit and wine when they didn’t have enough for everyone in the first place. it really allowed arya to see that not everything is so black and white, that lannister soldiers can be good, honest people, and (given that she just murdered an entire house) good and honest people can do bad things. everyone is SLEEPING on this scene!!!
