rises from the grave i have been rezzed by the possibility of gency and gay tracer ok
i cannot believe this
your friendly reminder that my genji is an absolute loser
pwnyou:
their dance was one of literal and metaphorical kind, considering that those bound to fame often suffered the eyes of many set on them. one overly curious party-goer or another simply needed to take a few pictures or feel particularly bold and they would see this incident all over the media the next day. bemusedly, she thought that it would do his image well and hers could take a few hits– but her manager would have another thing to say about it, possibly cut short her days off and she was not up for surrendering freedom so easily. hana decided that it would not hurt to move close enough to seem less suspicious or at least less obvious. her arms came around his neck, eyes locked because this WAS a game, in too many ways for her to consider losing– even though she did not quite figure just yet what exactly would be losing in this scenario. ❝ your korean’s pretty good, ❝ she offered after a while, sticking close to him and offering a grin. ❝ did you learn that just to flirt ?~ ❝
GENJI WAS A MAN OF IMPULSE. He never thought about how his wild nights would be perceived by masses, whether he’d be branded as the problem child, the bad boy by the media, the hear-breaker leaving the club with a different girl every other day. It was hard to care when the world was so forgetful, when he was doing the same old routine for centuries now ( and when his own boss was hardly any better ). Hana was luring him in almost masterfully with her teases, her general aura that radiated of strength and challenge and it was everything Genji looked for in a partner, even if it is only for a night. It was hard to resist her and he didn’t really want to, especially not when she drew him closer, arms around his neck pushing a broader smile onto his features. His own followed her example, circling around her waist until they met on her back, resting on the lower part. The crowd around them disappeared and for the moment, she held his sole attention and the dragon wondered just how long she’ll be able to maintain it. ❛ Nope. Business unfortunately. Plus I spent a few years in Korea so by now it just comes naturally. ❜ Decades fit more, but he was still sober enough to watch his tongue. ❛ Can you impress me with any Japanese though? ❜
pwnyou
yes, he could stay. the only thing that tended to have her turning away quickly was people trying to restrict her ever-blooming self-confidence, and he seemed to mirror hers instead just fine. the last statement in korean received a small huff, the ones that would follow had a smile remaining on her features. a nice laugh he had, she thought, and decided to keep things pleasant. if she was going to spend the night with anyone, the gamer determined it would be him. ❝ sleeping’s boring, ❝ came a simple response, almost sounding a tad offended at the insinuation itself. ❝ –and, well, i do love my fans~ parties are fun too, though. ❝ parties and particularly being a little rowdy and reckless. this was a game she could not lose, only experiences and stories gained the next morning no matter what would happen. with that in mind, she glanced at him silently for a few moments, smile becoming more mischievous and her drink lifted, chugged down in one go and the glass placed on the counter again. a moment later she hopped off her chair, stood next to him and stretched a little, head nodding towards an abundance of lights, music and bodies. ❝ sitting around’s not my thing, that was enough of a break. let’s dance~ ❝
❛ Woman after my own heart. ❜ He teased, though his words held a hint of sincerity. He could easily easily relate to her statements; sleep was a necessity he’d happily throw out of his life if he could, perfectly happy with spending his nights mingling with people at clubs and taking someone home when the party was over. And the latter were exactly his cup of tea as well, the more people, the merrier and it never hurt for him to expand his pool of connections no matter how temporary they seemed compared to his own life span. Friends were something Genji cherished, whether they were human or mythical alike. As her smile grew more mischievous, his curiosity got piqued, watching with a rather impressed look as she downed her tall glass of drink, lips slightly parted but still quirked upwards and his gaze continued to follow her even after she jumped off the stool. Eyes flicking to her extended hand, Genji chuckled, only took a beat of a second to decide it’d be a waste of his money if he let his drink sit there so he quickly drank it down as well, head shaking once the slow burn of alcohol went past his throat and took Hana’s hand in his, hopping down his own stool. ❛ Happily~ ❜ He hummed. spinning around her and dragging her towards the dance floor. Once there, her hand was released and soon placed low on her hip, body swaying closer to hers along with the beat of the song.
pwnyou
she would be lying if she said he was not charming. in fact, he seemed pleasant company and she would gladly keep him around should he choose to remain in her company. it was endearing, still, how he played alone, someone of his appearance, with that scar adorning his features and self-confidence almost reaching her own level. it had her giving a chuckle, soon reaching over to poke his chest playfully.❝ 나도❝ came her soft chime ❝축하해.❝ many underestimated how little she tended to put on a show; she truly was as competitive, daring and cocky as she let on to be. she had figured out why he seemed familiar a while ago but it didn’t mean too much to her considering the way he acted. he could take a few jabs at his ego, she had decided, and let him be the first to play astounded in the presence of someone well-known. the drinks arrived and hers was soon sipped at rather contently, a few nods and a hum offered once she set it down again.❝ i’m sure it is,❝ the gamer commented, then, only to tap her fingers against the counter soon after that.❝ fanmeetings ! probably not what a model would be used to, right ? hehe– i do get a few days off starting today for it, though~❝
WHERE THE ATMOSPHERE BEFORE was something more lively it now quickly became playful and flirty and Genji eased into it with grace. His lips remained curled into a small smile as he leaned back on his stool, feet now propped on the footrest, a sign he had decided to stay there, in her company. Long, thin fingers wrapped around the stem of his cocktail glass and as he brought the reddish-orange drink to his lips, he hummed, letting the tequila work the alcohol back into his system. The poke to his chest had his eyebrows shot up, an amused look given and with that permission taken to be more liberal with his own small touches. ❛ 나는 영광이다. ❜ His free hand was brought to his chest, head bowed down deeply to accent his words and his voice grew deeper.
Her cockiness was not that surprising to him, after all he had seen a few of her streams and she always came across as as sincere when in her element. He was glad actually, that her persona didn’t seem to differ too much from her personality, leaving him to relax some more in her presence. Her words brought laughter to his lips, light and soft. ❛ Ah, I was recognised as well? Oh well, I guess I cant really escape with a memorable face such as mine, right? ❜ A wink was given and another sip of his cocktail taken before he sat the glass back down non the bar. ❛ I can’t say I meet a lot of fans. It must be nice to walk into a meeting with only people who adore you attending it. I wouldn’t be opposed to something like that myself. You’re spending your free time in a club? I’d think someone with a schedule of an idol would just sleep all day. ❜
pwnyou
oh, the korean had her interest piqued sure enough. for a moment, she huffed, not overly excited about the fact that he would understand just about everything she might try to utter in secret. still, it hardly made that much of a difference; it was not the case that she would let that censor her blunt nature. a hand waved through the air, a brow raised as she stared at him for a moment.❝ 그래. 떠나세,어? 그럼 다음에 —- bye bye.❝ a click of her tongue, then, followed by a slowly forming grin of her own. it could be worse, she decided, and despite the rather evident scar he wore, nothing about the other so far seemed all that threatening or concerning. for a moment or two she played with the thought of letting her hair down, just for the sake of flaunting a little, but the thought was done away with again soon enough. instead, she was soon met with an achieved goal, a drink in order, and a question that had her pursing her lips.❝하나~❝ she chimed with a grin.❝ hana song.❝
THE HUFF EVOKED A GRIN from the dragon, clearly having succeeded in surprising her by using Korean, though she recovered fairly quickly. Her quick dismissal of him him was met with a soft pout. chin now again rested in the safety of his palm and he sighed woefully, gaze cast aside at the neon display of alcoholic beverages behind the counter, a mournful ❛ 아이고... ❜ leaving him in another exaggerated sigh. His performance was obvious, even the way his shoulders visibly slumped down and he leaned forward, as if ready to lay on the counter showed that. ❛ 나는 마침내 내 시합을 만난 줄 알았다.
The familiar sounding name that reached his ears had him perking up however, the sense of familiarity he had gotten from the woman suddenly clear and he sat up, head tilted curiously to the side. ❛ The gamer? Whoa, look at me, in the presence of a celebrity. ❜ A bow of his head just as their drinks arrived and Genji handed his credit card towards the bartender before he turned his attention back to her. ❛ I thought you looked familiar. I watch your streams sometimes, actually. I’m Genji Shimada. Pleasure’s all mine. What brings you to this side of the world? ❜
pwnyou:
she knew that hypothetically, her life expectancy was higher than that of most people, besides the perks of her powers. she tended to think about the long run, saved up money because she knew one day she might retire and want to do everything that has ever been on her mind. she did not particularly like the way she lived, how it restricted her in so many ways, but she knew she could out-live it and settle down with something that would make kings and queens jealous in the end. one of those famed, retired stars, still admired without so much as raising a finger— it sounded perfect to her. for the time being, she adored parties and clubs, the occasional fling and the hints of gossip that she quite welcomed, gaining her a reputation of a rather tough woman, despite her appearance. she had a feeling the stranger did not know her, otherwise her name would have dropped as a pick-up in one form or another already. still, perhaps it would have been nice to have someone else at her feet so easily again— ah, perhaps her fame wasn’t even necessary for that, actually.❝좋아…❝ she mused softly, a brow raised at him before she glanced past him, at nothing in particular.❝ pick something. surprise me.❝
HE WAS AMUSED BY HER reaction, perhaps because it wasn’t one of the usual interested or dismissive ones but something rather in between. It kept his smirk still on his lips, eyebrow raised at her nonchalant response. It drew his interest more than her apparent beauty did and the roll of a familiar language of her tongue had him humming with amusement; it would do him well to brush up on his Korean, he thought, he hadn’t been in that country in a while. ❛ 승인? 어쩌면 떠나서 다른 사람이 내 자리를 차지하도록해야 할 것 같습니다? ❜ He sighed woefully, his fist loosening enough for him to nestle his chin into his palm and a look of faux hurt settling on his face.
She was coy and he was playful and Genji was looking forward for the next few hours, already having decided he’ll stay in the company of the woman for as long as she didn’t send him off. Noticing the waiter approaching their end, he lasily lifted two fingers off his cheek and beckoned him over, leaning over the counter to speak with the man over the booming music. ❛ A Zombie for the miss and a Tequila Sunrise for myself, please. ❜ With a smile and a nod, the bartender went off to prepare their drink, leaving Genji to turn back on his company. ❛ So, does miss Okay have a name?
pwnyou:
with the likes of her occupying the club, she thought it was going to be a party after her own heart; debauchery and noise, dancing and laughter, all of the such. it fit so far, even though her shoes were just about to kill her. her outfit was quite the looker, short skirt and a shirt with loose sleeves, made of see-through fabric, stainless white covering her torso. she had been about to wrap her hair into a messy bun when the stranger joined her, just so finishing her task before she eyes him somewhat curiously. considering her paycheck and overall wealth, she could have bought the entire club and their cousins drinks for the entire night, and yet she thought it would be more fun to get herself a drink bought by someone else. head tilted to the side as she scanned the male, casting away any and all caution not to seem as though she was seizing him up entirely— which was absolutely what she was taking her time with. after a few long moments, she gave a small hum. ❝ looks like you’re the jackpot of the night, ❝ the gamer commented, lips curved into a cheeky grin and fingers soon drumming against the counter. ❝ packed nights are the BEST nights, huh ? ❝
GENJI HAD NEVER BEEN shy about himself, knowing very well that he was attractive and very much aware of how to use it to his own benefit. Countless nights before were spent in the company of women he had long forgotten, friends now long dead that he replaced with new faces and new lovers filling the hole in his soul that yearned for human touch. Few of those that belonged to the world of supernatural stood by his side but Genji had always preferred mortals to them. There was something raw surrounding them, something that made them seem so much more alive as to compared to his kind, old and lazy and stretching out their activities throughout decades and sometimes even centuries. They had a short, limited lifetime but often times he thought they spent it far better than they did.
It’s why he loved places like these; clubs, bars, parties that went well into the night. It brought people together, strangers grouped up in a place where life was at its peak, where fun was always on the front of everyone’s mind and casual encounters were all but the norm. The way the woman seemed to eye him was obvious to him, lips twitching into a smirk as his own eyes flicked over her form. She was attractive, well off if her clothes were of any indicator though Genji doubted the money she had could get close to the wealth he gathered over the centuries. ❛ You like what you see I take it? ❜ He mused, leaning his elbow onto the counter and his head on his fist, the fingers of the other hand tapped against his thigh. ❛ Right? Nothing beats the vibe an atmosphere like this creates. You’re not drinking anything I see. Want to share something with me?~ ❜
did i ever tell you guys abt my headcanon that genji didn’t fight back during the shimada showdown?

@northwinded
she loved this– the colourful lights, the music, the people that watched her with mild awe and adoration. it was perfect to her, so lively and reminding her just how much she adored her way of living. there was an abundance of people at the club, though none quite stole the show just as she did. the people that approached her were various, mostly guys that thought they stood much of a chance against her or with her, though she was quick to dismiss them. the perks of being out without her manager mostly consisted of the freedom she now enjoyed. —and since she had the next day off, she gladly found herself propped down at the bar after a while, elbow on the flat surface and head resting on her palm. the other waved lazily towards someone nearby, winking in their general direction, her already somewhat intoxicated mind not caring enough as to just who it would reach. for the time being, she was happily taking a small break and waiting for someone to heroically buy her a drink.
Genji loved people. No matter how many centuries past by he could not get used to them, used to the feeling he got whenever he found himself surrounded by masses of bodies enjoying life. It filled him with energy he couldn’t get anywhere else, a type of ecstasy that had him mingling among the youth of that time until the early hours of the morning when the sun already began to shine its first rays over the horizon. The alcohol, the music, the energy coming around from everyone was enough to have the young dragon dancing on the dance floor of the club for what seemed hours to him.
Bones aching and throat parched, he quickly excused himself from the group of strangers he gathered around himself. The music pumped through his head, had him stumbling out of the main floor and swaying along to the beat even after he had managed to shake himself of someone that had grabbed his forearm to try and drag him back. The space was packed, though it seemed like the bar had a little room left to rest his tired legs -- perfectly so since he thought about grabbing himself a drink or two before he’d return to the floor, maybe even strike up a conversation with someone. Breaking the line of sight between a woman and a man that she was apparently eyeing, Genji grabbed a stool closest to him and with a loud sigh, he flopped onto it, stretching his legs to the side and his arms above his head. ❛ Whoa, what a night! Today’s pretty packed, right? ❜ He addressed no one in particular though his eyes fell onto the woman sitting next to him and he smiled, a charming grin curving his lips. ❛ Hi. Mind if I join you? ❜
oberarzt:
❝ it’s a little like mercenary work, as far as i’ve gathered. ❝ a soft hum, then, a hand coming back to brush back a strand of hair. ❝ on his torso. physical examination and the such— ❝
❛ Seems like the type of work that would suit him. His torso? Is he alright? ❜ Confusion is replaced by concern and he hums softly. ❛ Well if he’s still walking I guess he is. Tell him he should say hi sometime. ❜

❝ the entire— cowboy matter. we have all been travelling, as far as i’m aware, anyway. i believe so. a few more scars… but he seemed the same to me. ❝
❛ I can’t say I’m all that familiar with cowboys. ❜ Head cocked to the side, his eyes show curiosity. ❛ Scars? Don’t tell me someone damaged his face, he’ll be whining for decades. ❜
downs a whole glass of whiskey; that’d be embarrassing alright
❛ Friend, I don’t think that’s supposed to go in there. ❜

i’m taking a short break from genji because my muse for him calmed down a bit. i am here most of the time if i need to be reached though. once this asshole decides he wants to be written again i’ll be back, though it shouldn’t be long before my activity is back up
[ simply mutters his name continuously in the morning, laying on top of him and running a hand through his hair, nuzzling his cheek and pressing kisses against his jaw ]
MORNINGS had never been his favourite part of the day. He had hated them when they were accompanied by a dull throbbing in the side of his head and a nauseating feeling in his stomach, when he was dragged out of blissful sleep by morning training by Hanzo or any of his teachers. Had grown appreciative of them since he abandoned his lavish life style for something new but he didn’t love him until Hana became a part of his life.
They were bliss now. He never understood the joy of them until he was woken up by a pair of lips against his own, or her voice, soft and soothing, lulling him out a dream into a reality that seemed that much more sweeter now. He allowed himself to drift in the in between state for a while longer, basking in the feeling of laziness and warmth she woke inside of him until he woke up with a smile, soft and light, but kept his eyes still closed while he soaked in the warm glow of her kisses. One arm wrapped around her middle to keep her in place while the other pushed hair away from her face, cupping her cheek gently. He sought her lips with his, rolling to the other side of the bed until he was laying on top of her, arm still very much around her.
❛ Good morning. ❜ He greeted, forehead pressed against hers and he trailed a line of kisses down her cheek.
