Anyone playing Varlet? 5 chapters in I'm really burned out, I was pretty excited to play this after finishing Caligula and I'd say I could handle janky, low budget games pretty well but this game just suck the soul out of me, the characters are interesting, the art is great, the story is serviceable but man this barely qualifies as a JRPG, there's no build, no equipment, no overworld/places to explore, and your skill point is tied to social link which you can't max everyone btw the game even warns you

It's honestly depressing that the core gameplay just ping pong you between intermission menu, boring club task, social link, dungeon and back to menu, everything feels super limited, they should just made it like P3P I don't think this game is even worth finishing but I'm in too far to quit TwT
