⚠️ Spoiler Warning ⚠️
Topic: Jax
I refer to Jax as he/him until he comes out in whatever plot I’m writing. That’s because it’s literally the main arc he has.
He fights himself about his identity so hard that his paranoia of being rejected by others fundamentally caused his greatest struggle. And the self hatred he developed from his mom not accepting who he really is CAUSES him to think he NEEDS to be a he/him.
People that don’t understand both can be true are quite stubborn and I don’t like when people assume others are transphobic when they are simply trying to mentally represent Jax’s self discovery journey.
Jax isn’t a real person. He didn’t come out to the world on his YouTube channel and ask everyone to respect his pronouns.
People need to touch grass.
Yes, Jax is very likely a she/her. That doesn’t mean everyone in the fandom is committing some sin to the trans community by not always referring to their character as such unless they are actively trying to claim that Jax is not a she/her at all as a person. That would just be denying Jax’s backstory.
