Herbie Yamaguchi is a Japanese photographer, who pictured life of English underground and punk culture in 70's and 80's.

Here's what he says about this photograph:

"Before George actually became "Boy George", I was sharing an apartment with him. It was when he was in the depths of poverty. The girl on the right is a landlord, she always had to remind him: "pay the gas bill, George!" Later she has kicked George out of his room."

So it's just a picture of young and poor Boy George, moments before he got kicked out of this flat, and his not very friendly landlord, who really do look like David Sylvian. Just a small discourse.
