Phoenix wants her to pay attention to him... too bad there's a new episode to whatever new Steel Samurai spin off on tonight lol (at the end of the day, he’s just happy to be around her)
Dear Ace Attorney fandom, When shipping Klapollo, please do me a solid and stop drawing Apollo wearing Gavinners shirts and other merch.
Apollo hates the Gavinners, we know this. He would never wear a Gavinners shirt.
And don't go at me all "oh, but it's so cute if he just pretends he doesn't like Klavier's band when he actually does" - no. Gonna stop you there, just let the guy hate the band.
Isn't it much funnier, and much more endearing if Apollo has been dating Klavier, if they've been in a committed relationship for months or years, if Apollo is married to Klavier and still hates his stupid, shallow, overrated band?
Just do this one for me, please.
Hey again, Tumblr - it's my fourth post to blatantly shill for Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Retrial! If you're not yet in the know, AJAAR is a romhack project being developed by a friend of mine to do the following three things with Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney:
1. make modest improvements and fixes to AJAA's main game, like fixing typos, slightly altering dialogue to better convey certain oft-misunderstood plot points (like the reasoning behind Machi's criminal charges in Turnabout Serenade), and giving Trucy a skintone more in line with her parents so she doesn't look inexplicably pale.
2. add in a series of entirely new mini-episodes in the spirit of those included in Professor Layton games, or the Escapades skits from The Great Ace Attorney. The video above is a mini-episode written by the project leader, fully functional in the original game, featuring Apollo and Trucy shortly after Vera's poisoning in Turnabout Succession, meeting up with Valant Gramarye as he plans to turn himself in to the police.
3. (eventually) add an entirely new Case 5 episode, in the vein of AA1's Rise from the Ashes. While the mini-episodes will generally try and fit within the confines of the original game's canon, the new Case 5 will diverge from canon a bit more to tell a bolder new story with the AJAA cast after the main events of the game.
Other information on the Retrial project can be found at the following link: https://twitter.com/aj_retrial/status/1736823789374386277 Also, find a link to the project's Discord here:

What's this? Why, it's my third post to show off a sample of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Retrial!
For those unfamiliar, AJAAR is a romhack project being developed by a friend of mine to do the following three things with Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney: 1. make modest improvements and fixes to AJAA's main game, like fixing typos, slightly altering dialogue to better convey certain oft-misunderstood plot points (like the reasoning behind Machi's criminal charges in Turnabout Serenade), and giving Trucy a skintone more in line with her parents so she doesn't look inexplicably pale. 2. add in a series of entirely new mini-episodes in the spirit of those included in Professor Layton games, or the Escapades skits from The Great Ace Attorney. The video above is a mini-episode written by contributor SCJacques, and which my friend edited and got fully functional in the game, featuring Edgeworth and Detective Gumshoe meeting up with Phoenix a few years into the seven-year timeskip, after a period of time in which Phoenix had cut contact.

Here's my second post to show off a sample of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Retrial. For those just arriving, AJAAR is a project being developed by a friend of mine to do the following three things with Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney: 1. make modest improvements and fixes to AJAA's main game, like fixing typos, slightly altering dialogue to better convey certain oft-misunderstood plot points (like the reasoning behind Machi's criminal charges in Turnabout Serenade), and giving Trucy a skintone more in line with her parents so she doesn't look inexplicably pale. 2. add in a series of entirely new mini-episodes in the spirit of those included in Professor Layton games, or the Escapades skits from The Great Ace Attorney. The video above is a mini-episode I wrote, and which my friend got fully functional in the game, featuring my interpretation of Ema's first time catching up with Phoenix during the events of the game, having not seen him in seven years. 3. add an entirely new Case 5 episode, in the vein of AA1's Rise from the Ashes. While the mini-episodes will generally try and fit within the confines of the original game's canon, the new Case 5 will diverge from canon a bit more to tell a bolder new story with the AJAA cast after the main events of the game.

This, I am happy to report, is a sample of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Retrial. What is that, at least a small percentage of you may be asking? Why, it's a romhack of AJAA being developed by a friend of mine. Its purpose? Well, even smaller percentage of you who asked that followup question, Retrial is a large-scale project meant to do these three things: 1. make modest improvements and fixes to AJAA's main game, like fixing typos, slightly altering dialogue to better convey certain oft-misunderstood plot points (like the reasoning behind Machi's criminal charges in Turnabout Serenade), and giving Trucy a skintone more in line with her parents so she doesn't look inexplicably pale. 2. add in a series of entirely new mini-episodes in the spirit of those included in Professor Layton games, or the Escapades skits from The Great Ace Attorney. The first one, written by my friend leading the project, is the post-Case 1 scene between Apollo and Kristoph that you see above. I've got a scene of my own that I wrote and my friend coded into the game, which is getting its own post after this one. 3. add an entirely new Case 5 episode, in the vein of AA1's Rise from the Ashes. While the mini-episodes will generally try and fit within the confines of the original game's canon, the new Case 5 will diverge from canon a bit more to tell a bolder new story with the AJAA cast after the main events of the game.

Check it out, and if anyone is interested to offer direct feedback or volunteer to participate in the development of the hack (writers, artists, and more are welome!), don't hesitate to say so in the Discord.
Art commission I did for the lovely @not-really-cynical some Trucy/Athena. I had a great time working on this, and the money goes a long way for me so thank you! My commissions are open! Open open open! Please consider commissioning me, even for something small!
Resurrecting my long-dead Tumblr to ask a question of today’s Ace Attorney fandom here - what are the reasons for so many people hating that Athena wears a skirt?
“recent Trucy x Athena commission i did for @/SUNSTONMATT ! thank you so much for your trust💕 #AceAttorney”
Hello, tiny camp of Trucy/Athena fans, I come bearing a gift.
Chapter 7 of 7
Here it is, albeit a day late due to some further frustrating technical issues - my Day 7 for rarepair week. Get your final dose of Trucykes here.

Rarepair week Day 4 - prompt is “Dates”, so here’s Trucy’s recap of a few.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
It’s Day 3 for rarepair week, more Trucykes whether you want it or not. Today’s prompt is “AU”, so here’s a little sample of one I hope to work on. (please want it, and go check out #aararepairweek22 on Twitter!)

I am mega-late on getting Day 2 done, but I’ve gotten Day 2 done. I will operate the Trucykes Train myself if I have to.
(check out #aararepairweek22 on Twitter!)
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
By sheer providence, it’s time for an Ace Attorney rarepair week over on Twitter at exactly the same time as I’ve suddenly had some free time and the motivation to write for it, so I’m gonna try and bash together some Trucykes material for a week. Give it a read if you like!
