“Yes Timothy, you caught me.” Steph let out a long, dramatic sigh. “It’s been a ruse the entire time. The after-hours gallivanting, the coming back from the dead. Even the brick. You fell right into my trap.” She reached out to muss his hair a little.
“Well, since you’re buying- we’re going to the good one. You know, with the eight dollar frozen chocolate mocha’s?” She wasn’t going to take no for an answer, so she picked up her pace quite a bit towards the cafe. “They have rainbow sprinkles!”
“I knew it seemed a little fishy,” he joked, before making a face at her as she messed with his hair. He reached out to tug lightly on her hair in retaliation.
“I’m pretty sure that is literally just ice cream. The only difference being the consistency is more watery,” he said, slightly grossed out. Despite his complaining, he led them down the street to the cafe in question. “What are your plans for the rest of the day?” he asked.
