Basic info first and foremost: 3 different iterations of Ted. There's the living, the dead and the movie version.
The living and the dead are for game mike (from the same universe/timeline), and the movie version is for movie michael (seperate universe/timeline from the other two)
Some common grounds info for all the Teds: all have some form of memory of michael afton. All have no immediate family or friends (aside from michael, a friend). Also, its a given but each version of Ted is GAY 🔥All of them were born in 1969, and are currently above the age of 23. He is 6"3. Also, I accidentally built them all to be prime victims for murder or manipulation since they go alone most of their lives. whoops.
RULES:
1. basic dni: proshippers, transphobe, homophobes, etc.
2. do not try to inform the other teds of eachother's existence that will not work. he will think you are crazy.
(update: actually, you can inform living game Ted about movie Ted. Just don't inform either of them about the one that's already dead)
3. do not inform them of future events either.
4. no nsfw asks. romance adjacent ones are alright though.

🔧TED MARTINEZ (LIVING):
As the nature of these things, this is the version of Ted before he died. He's 23 here and the year is 1992. He's also a fresh college graduate! Him and Michael Afton are pen pals.
He works at a diner that was created in response to the success of Freddy's. Its called The Pack & Tack Shack Diner, or simply P&T. He works there as an engineer.
Said location has animatronics and in the summer, his location does a touring show. the tours started around 1987 and through these tours he met Michael Afton when they were both 17. And that is how they became pen pals :>
📬TED MARTINEZ (DECEASED):
As the nature of these things, Ted gets murdered. He was murdered by a coworker of his using the arm of one of the animatronics they were fixing. Said arm belongs to the animatronic he goes to possess. That animatronic is named Don Dallas and he's a possum. He's practically a fading memory of himself.
The way he communicates is through a "letters to [insert animatronic here]" that P&T do at their location. Basically, the person types a message and a worker writes back as the character. The program can also be used to play games with the animatronic. This is the way asks and posts will be formatted, through a shaky transmission sort of format.

Alright, so since the movie takes place in 2001 (iirc?) and the second movie is in about 2002, then ted is about 33 in 2002. Since the movie is quite different from the games, so is this Ted. First off, P&T shuts down a fair amount of time before 1992 when he WOULD'VE gotten murdered. So he gets to live! for better or worse...
See, he crosses paths with Movie Michael Afton. Not gonna lie im still trying to flesh out Movie Ted and Movie Michael's introduction to eachother. But basically it evolved into him reluctantly helping out Movie Michael because thats the only person he is close to. He develops feelings and is in heavy gay denial. unrelated but he's a Neon Genesis Evangelion fan. I also took advantage of the fact its the early 2000s and accidentally made him VERY EMO...
