🥕 judy takes her detective work incredibly seriously, even if right now she was nothing more than a meter maid … in a town where parking was primarily free…. with only as many meters as they could count on their fingers and toes; their human ones. 🥕 judy doesn’t quite see the town the same way nick does; he sees a second opportunity, they see a bump in the road hindering them from finding the missing shifters. as much as they’re relieved that nick is finding his footing and listened to her advice about NOT going back into being a conman… judy is starting to fear that if they do ever find a way out, she’ll be returning to the city without him. 🥕 judy has a lot of rabbit-like twitches that show themselves in her human for. her nose twitches, her hearing is obnoxiously good (no, seriously, obnoxiously good…), her foot rapidly taps when she’s thinking really hard, and her sex drive— well, the quote ‘fuck like bunnies’ didn’t come out of thin air.. 🥕 shifting is a big part of who they are, but Nick’s fears are one of the only pessimistic thoughts she entertains… They don’t know the people in this town, who’s to say they can be trusted with information like that? Judy likes to be positive that the town would be receptive, but the seeds of doubt planted in her by fear have kept her from showing anyone outside of Nick thus far. 🥕 judy has a golf cart, and it’s their pride and joy. Judy always volunteers to deck it out for parades and for holidays in the town. 🥕 this ex-cop, meter-maid, underground detective has no time for funny business. the second they hear of anything sketchy going on around town, they are the first on the case. no, judy hopps isn’t a snitch, but she is not going to let the bad guys get away with being… bad guys, if they can help it. 🥕 nick wilde, through and through, is their person. whilst at first, their partnership started over an audio recording pen and the veil threat to turn him in for tax evasion, judy doesn’t know what she’d do without him. he is the only one in this town, in this life, that has ever seen them for who they are… not judging them, not doubting their abilities, but seeing their strengths. if anything were to happen to him, judy would ensure whoever was responsible was royally punished; with or without the law backing them up. 🥕 judy is a vegetarian, and whilst they try to keep their judgements regarding what other people like to eat at a minimum, especially given her best friend is a carnivore, the poor thing can’t help but wince whenever someone refers to her salads as ‘rabbit food’ or decides to order a steak at dinner. thank god alcohol is cruelty-free.
