Children’s Stick Insect (Tropidoderus childrenii)

….a species of stick insect that is native to Australia. Like most phasmids they feed elusively on plant material and seemingly have a preference for eucalyptus. Like several other species of stick insect female children’s stick insects are capable of reproducing parthogenically and eggs are typically laid in the ‘winter’ and will hatch in late summer.

#my soul hurts #but it’s about time Dean realizes that putting Sam down actually has an impact on how he feels #i.e. you can’t just say shit w/the intention of hurting him and then act surprised when he goes on a suicide mission to seek your approval #and because he thinks it’s just penance for all his ”mistakes”

#sam is REALLY REALLY good at taking abusive blows and not reacting to them #or submitting in a fight even if hes right #and i think at first it was a survival thing #like he didn’t want to lose jon or dean or anybody else in his life #so he just ended up dealing with it #but over time he internalized all of the fucked up shit #that jon and dean #and cas and bobby and every other person in his life has said to him #you know sam the waling punching bag #who you are allowed to talk shit about because you know he will lie down and take it #anyway he internalized that shit and really started believing that #good on the shoe if it decides that all of the dumb bullshit all of the characters have said to sam in the past is NOT OKAY #and if they go back to IT’S TOTALLY COOL TO HURT SAM BECAUSE THE FANS PREFER THE OTHER MALE CHARACTERS
