She chuckled sadly, letting her hair fall back down her back again to cover the scars. “I know and I can’t begin to thank you guys enough. This is the closest thing to a real family I have ever had. I just…. Because of my past, I have a hard time believing in myself or trusting others. I don’t know if I really can do all this hero stuff.”
A small smile appeared on his face. Gar was glad he could change her life for the better and even if she didn’t choose to pursue the superhero life, at least she was in a much better position than before. The hero watched the vibrant redhead once more. “No problem. We’re always happy to help. I’m happy to have helped you out, Eili. I think you’re in much better shape than when I first met you. If you don’t want to pursue the superhero life, that’s alright too. Now you have control over your powers and I think that’s a feat in itself.”
