cool as fuck
I still can't believe we got to see Liam two-handing Noel's ass on stage. Like it's stuff we read in fanfiction but we got it in real life. We SAW it in real life. In front of tens of thousands of people. People were cheering. We got a good jiggle and everything. They posted it fucking everywhere on their social media. They printed it on their opus where it will live forever. Liam's hands on Noel's ass will forever be eternal and we were here to see it happen ^_^
Noel being surprised and a bit weirded out that "I could be your lover, you could be all mine" is about him is so funny.
Dude you gave Liam a song to sing where half of the lyrics are "You're my lover, I'm your brother", you have no leg to stand on!
i have the magazine in my room so this image is always staring at me
NOEL GALLAGHER ON THE BASS | ‘GO LET IT OUT’ MUSIC VIDEO
He did have to play ALL the instruments, didn't he?
This was an interesting transition time for Oasis, it was in 2000 after Bonehead and Guigs had left the band, but before Gem and Andy had joined. Noel wrote and recorded almost every single instrument on the album. That in itself isn't new, Noel always wrote and demoed every instrument himself. On Shoulder of Giants, him and Liam are credited as the main performers on the album, and Liam's only contribution is vocal performance.
Actually, Bonehead and Guigs had recorded guitar and bass parts before they left, but Noel went and re-recorded all of them on the album to avoid another Tony McCarroll situation where Oasis were paying out album performance royalties in perpetuity to former members (unlike Tony, who wouldn't take a cut of the royalties rather than a lump sum from Oasis in 2000?)
But Noel playing the bass in the music video is just because when the single came out, there were still confirming Andy and Gem, and they hadn't finalised the lineup though they were talking about it.
