tw: child abandonment, parental death
this is a request for my girl candy amherst. after she was born, candy was given up for adoption by her mother, who felt she was too young and not ready enough to be a mother. candy was adopted by the amherst family and she’s had a really good life, she loves her family. but she’s always sort of wondered? about her mother and her father. and that’s where the brother comes in. he seeks candy out and tells her that their mother died (the cause is up to whoever takes him) and that their mother told him before she passed about the child she’d given up.
it sort of rocks candy’s whole world, in finding out that her mother who had given her up, decided to keep another child later down the line.
everything everything is up to the person who takes him. how good of a life it was, how well off they were, literally all of it. it could’ve been terrible, it could’ve been wonderful. all of it. how much he wants to be part of candy’s life and all that other sort of stuff, i figured we could talk about, because she’d absolutely want to at least try and get to know him.
