No, it’s nice. Being cold and having rain around me reminds me of being back home.
Growing up in the rain and cold does not sound very pleasant.Â

Could have given some warning, girl. My hair’s soaked now.
Sorry, I didn’t think hair could be that important.

Oh bite me! Everyone else gets to rejoice it’s back to normal. Besides a little rain never killed anyone.

Hearing her question, Hayden looked back up at Jack, meeting her eyes. “That’s kind of a tough question.” He replied. “I mean, physically I’m fine. Just waiting for some of these scars and bruises to heal.” Hayden told her. “But I don’t think I will ever be back to my normal self. A lot happened while I was gone and I will never forgive myself for what happened to my father. But I’m sure I will eventually find some sort of normal for me.”

Hayden finished with his hand and put the stuff away, leaning on the counter across from where Jack stood, crossing his arms over his chest. “Well, the guy found my family. My mom and my sister were getting threats and one day got taken all together.” Hayden paused for a moment, reliving what happened. “So, I left. They needed me. Some shit happened and it went wrong, but we all made it out alive. And I decided to come back.”
Jack faced him fully as she listened to his story. After he finished speaking she stayed quiet for sometime trying to conjure the words to say or if she should say anything at all. “Are you okay now?” She asked looking up at him with her brown eyes. Jack wasn’t sure if she was referring to him physically or emotionally.Â
frozenhayden:
“Well, if you would have been turning everything into ice, this would have made things a lot easier now wouldn’t it?” He laughed, moving to the small first aid kit he had to bandage his hand. As he worked on his hand, he looked up to Jack for a moment. “Did I tell you why I came here? The first time.”
“I guess. At least we’d both know what we can do now.” Jack murmured as she kicked some dirt up from the ground. At his question her memory stirred and soon enough Hayden’s story popped in her head. “Yea, I remember. Why?”
frozenhayden:
Hearing her answer, Hayden sighed and shook his head. “Such a fun thing to come back to. The ringmaster playing tricks on us again.” He replied, sighing even more. He raised an eyebrow at her next questions. “Answers about me leaving? You are really concerned about that now?”
“The tricks never stop.” Jack just shook her head as she stared him down. “Yes, I’m concerned about it now. I’m not sprouting a tail or turning everything into ice so, yes, I want some answers.” She leaned up against the work table with a determined look in her eyes.Â

Hearing Jack around him, Hayden looked up at her before wrapping the towel around his hand to stop the bleeding. Part of him made sure to focus on the wound in order to stop the pain while he moved towards Jack. “I know. I have questions to answer, but let’s hold on to that for later.” He told her. “Do you still have your powers?”
Jack looked down at his hand cautiously, to make sure he wasn’t hurt. It seemed fine but still, that was weird. “No, I don’t.” Jack sighed out as she crossed her arms. “And don’t ask me what I have now because I have no idea. So, answers?”
Hayden had been hearing about people having weird new powers and yet somehow not having their own. He wasn’t sure what was happening, but as he found out earlier in the day, he was apart of the trend. He was unable to freeze anything, which explained why he felt warmer. He was working on his bike when a piece of loose metal sliced into his arm and blood started to drip down. “Damn!” he cursed at the pain. Although, to his surprise, the more he thought the cut, the faster the pain faded. It came back as his attention changed to find a clean towel and somehow faded again when his focus was on it. “What the hell…”Â
The second Jack got out of her caravan today she noticed everyone freaking out. Another switch plagued the cirque. Jack didn’t notice anything different so maybe it wouldn’t affect her. But once she tried to change the weather Jack knew she was in it with the rest of them. Walking around the circus, she thought of what was different this morning. She guessed she looked a little prettier but Jack assumed it was the make up she didn’t clean off. Whatever as long as she was okay, Jack wouldn’t care. A familiar voice stopped her and  eyes widened as she saw the blonde and even more as she saw his hand. “Holy shit. Two things happened a never thought I’d see ... again.”

I don’t know what pool hopping is, but I wanna go! Pick me! [jumps up and down] This sounds fun!
[laughs] Okay! Okay. Pool hopping is when you go from hotel pool to hotel pool jumping in and then leaving before you get caught.Â

Anyone want to go pool hopping with me? It’s the perfect weather for it.
“Only if I can take some time on working on my tan. I can’t believe how hot it is and how it hasn’t helped me at all. I’m still paler than ever.”
"Technically you tan better in the water. Just so you know. Also, who cares if you are pale?"
