The long post w the good explanation is being shared but not inspiring much help. So, I simplified it.

My illness is straight up fatal. Not gonna beat around thatBush, anymore. I seem desperate for help because I AM desperate for help.

My nephrologist has seen enough improvement in my kidney function, lately, to believe someone my age (early 30s) might have a longer life WITH PROPER AND FREQUENT MEDICAL ATTENTION. Sadly, that just isn’t an option where I live.

Please, if you can help me with moving expenses (even just a couple of bucks) I would be grateful. I’m sinking fast in Mississippi and now my doctors are giving me too much hope to ignore. I wanna get out of this situation and I’m working my fatigued, brain-foggy ass off to make it out of here.

I don’t want to spend another month KNOWING what I should be eating, what medicines I should be taking, what tests and treatments I should be getting… and receiving almost none of it because Mississippi lawmakers think people like me have somehow earned slow, painful deaths.

11/12/18 - Though this has been shared a lot it hasn’t gotten any donations in a while. I’m struggling to get enough food. Since I was in the hospital since this past Thursday, I haven’t been able to find a job, yet. If I’d found a retail job this hospitalization probably would have gotten me fired. 8/5/19 - Right now, a lot of basic needs are being covered by friends. I’ve gone full, no-contact with my family. My stress and anxiety has been more manageable now that I’m around people that don’t seem pissed off that I’m sick.

If you have anything extra, my main problem, now, is that all the bills I have like doctors I saw before I got insurance ($386) & MY PHONE ($477) are behind.

I am working on bankruptcy since I haven’t been able to work in a year, can’t get an answer on disability. Honestly, Trump’s America is gearing up for some international fuckery instead & won’t be sad about my poor, queer, disabled death. I know more people, right now, that are getting cut off than put on.

Hey! HongKonger here. It looks like there's confusion about what the Hong Kong protests are really about, so I hope I can help clear it up.

We want justice for the murder victim too, and we're definitely not trying to protect the murderer. The thing is, the murder happened in Taiwan, outside of Hong Kong, and HK currently doesn't have any extradition agreement with Taiwan, so we can't give the man to Taiwan for legal proceedings right now.

Now, HK can certainly work out some sort of special agreements with Taiwan to make it happen for this murder case, and that's what a reasonable top HK leader should do. But no, the current Chief Executive (i.e. the top political leader), who's actually elected by mainland China but not democratically elected by the people of HK and thus doesn't really care about our opinion, decided not to work out a special arrangement for the murder case. You know what she did?

She decided to make a blanket change to the current HK extradition law, so that it allows everyone who lives or even just passing through HK to be handed over to places we currently don't have extradition deals with. Sounds good, right?

Wrong! Taiwan doesn't want to go down this route and it has explicitly stated that if that's the route HK takes, Taiwan will not request for the murderer to be handed over to Taiwan. For one, it's not the most time efficient way for HK to hand over the man to Taiwan and get justice for the murdered girlfriend.

The most important and underlying reason is: the proposed changes cover handing over people to mainland China, which we all don't trust bc of its "legal" system that frequently forces people to "confess" their "crime" without real proof of crime and the main victims are human rights activists. The proposed new extradition bill can't guarantee people turned over will be assumed innocent until proven guilty in the legal systems they're sent to, which is the foundation to protect people wrongfully charged of crime. And the HK court doesn't have enough power to overrule sending anyone to mainland China for any "crime".

Tl;dr:

HongKongers want justice for the murder victim, but not through the proposed changes to the law currently put forward by the HK government. If the proposed changes are passed, mainland China can bully the top HK political leader into handing over anyone who disagrees with mainland China to be sentenced in mainland China under any "crime" it can make up.

"You're protecting the murderer if you don't support the proposed new extradition bill" is exactly the kind of rhetoric the mainland China-appointed top HK political leader uses to try to make protestors fighting for freedom look bad.

Is that what you want for Hong Kong? To be turned into the express line for punishment in mainland China for fabricated crimes?

P.S. We identify as HongKongers / HongKongese to denote we're different from mainland Chinese. "Chinese" in our context refers to people from mainland China. Be mindful when you refer to people from Hong Kong.

SPEAK UP. GET THIS KNOWN. Even if you can't do anything else, at least raise awareness to put some pressure out there on those who can do something. OUR HOME IS AT STAKE. The skies in Sao Paolo turned black. We are losing our most valued rainforest. WE CANNOT JUST SIT BACK.

THE AMAZONIA RAINFOREST HAS BEEN BURNING FOR 3 WEEKS

The Amazonia Rainforest is the biggest rainforest in the world and it's the home of millions of species of animals and plants, as well as to hundreds of indigenous tribes (also, they're the ones actually protecting the forest, the ones who warned everyone that this was going to happen, and now the ones who are going to suffer the most).

The Amazonia is responsible for about 20% of all oxygen on Earth and 20% of the fresh water on the planet flows on its rivers.

Brazil's current president is a racist, homophobic and stupid dude, who approves and promotes anti environment behaviour. He pardoned environmental criminals and suspended environmental laws.

In Brazil, large companies and landowners (and some politicians) are the ones benefiting from the deforestation and that's because the wood extracted illegally is sold to European Countries and the land devastated is used for livestock.

If the Amazonia is destroyed the rest of the world is likely to be destroyed as well.

PLEASE HELP. I know it may seem impossible to do anything from far away, but by spreading information, donating to NGOs and protesting, we may be able to pressure the government to do something.
