After four days of fabulous fashion, dynamic designers, melodious musicians, amazing artists and magnificent models did you expect that the Noteably Nashville closing show would be anything but spectacular?! Nah!!
So here’s what happened…
Picture this, a crowd of onlookers set along the runway only feet away from the river with the #MusicCity skyline as the back drop, while listening to Christian rapper Andi Beique. As the colorful lights from the Pedestrian Bridge reflect upon the water, the lighted rails of the Cumberland Park boardwalk set the scene for what is to become the hottest urban chic & street wear runway show of the season.
The audience observes as artist @roylawsart Art begins to creatively paint a portrait of Hip Hop Artist JAY Z live, & a hooded figure w/gold metallic fabric draped along his face, emerges. For moments nothing is said until boom!, the beats drop & hip hop music flows, opening the show.
Then as if in syncopation, the models #rocktherunway, 1 by 1, wearing the newest collection of @templarmovement who moments later reveals himself as the man with the mask, wearing an ensemble from his collection. Templar takes his urban, conscious creative line to the streets with this collection and wows the crowd with both men & women fashions. Evan performs original hip hop songs during his showcase.
We slow it down just a little bit as the next array of models glide across the runway, dressed in the #urbanchic collection, @m.richelle.l to the soulful R&B/Hip Hop sounds of @mayaaliciasing. Each design of Marla Love’s newest collection captivated the audience’s attention as the very trendy pieces inspire women to celebrate their femininity. Whether it be an ensemble for every day wear, travel to fashion cities around the globe, or a night on the town with girlfriends, M.Richelle.L. certainly makes a woman feel beautiful.
Opening with a pink and white quilted mini dress in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Immortal INK by @black_cholo rocks the closing show. The Memphis designer brought his edgy streetwear mens & womens collection that showed all that urban wear is indeed fashionable! Showcased to the hip hop beats of live performer K-Marzzz, Immortal INK completes the 5 nights of fashion, but not before an exhilarating performance by hip-hop dancers Dreamers Society by The Pro Trac.
We were excited to feature the non-profit of the night Thistle Farms and so glad that they were able to join us to share information about their organization and products. This was definitely one #hott show! Thanks to all who came out to support! See you next year! #fashion #music #art #NoteablyNashville –
