Reasons why I still believe in Gray:

1) His eyes: when Lucy slaps him, his eyes return black, they’re NORMAL colour. Plus, he seems pretty in pain.

2) He accepts Lucy’s slap. He’s a powerful mage, he could avoid it or even block her arm…But he didn’t. Also, it still remain the painfull expression

3) When Natsu says “I’M waiting for you” Gray is surprised/shocked (=look at the exclamation marks). It’s evident these words hit something in his mind.

4) His fuckin’ expression when Natsu talks about Juvia. I really believe he didn’t want to left Juvia, but he had to in order to protect her. (maybe because he knew something was happening to his body).

5) He does the same act Natsu did a few pages before and, again, look at his expression: it’s evil, ok, but it really seems a fake evil expression to me. His lips are strange, just like he’s trying not to cry and his eyes shows pain too.

We need to talk about this. Like. Look. Lucy is a sweet loving girl and she always sticks up for her comrades, but can you imagine what she must be feeling to actually lift a hand to one of her best friends? She would never purposely hurt them in a way that was ment to show true anger, but she did here. Natsu had left for a year, the guild disbanded, and lucy was by herself, only left with the memories of what was. Now they are actually going to bring back Fairy Tail! And gray, being on team natsu, acts like he wants nothing to do with them anymore, which probably freaking hurt lucy. Like. A lot. Her face as she walks up to him. If thats not a “I cant even handle your crap right now” face, then I dont know what is. And then she starts crying, but LOOK AT HER FACE IN THE LAST PICTURE. I have seen Lucy happy, sad, frustrated and angry but I dont even know how to put words to her expression. She looks betrayed? Angry? Sad? Frustrated? She needs a big hug from Natsu. But now, look at grays face. He almost looks kinda guilty! (Or is it just me?) he cant even look when lucy is on floor and the others have bonds put around them. CMON GRAY GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER- AND LUCY YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO SLAP HIM. We all wanted Juvia or Natsu to knock some sense into him but we have Lucy.
