You are ocean deep and those that are as shallow as puddles will always dismiss you, misunderstand you, abandon you; all for fear of disappearing in your depths.

Faith wears out in your hearts as clothes wear out, so ask Allāh to renew the faith in your hearts.
The Prophet [ﷺ] | as-Sahīhah (no. 1585)
Forgive me Ya Allah for every prayer I had something other than You on my mind. For every time I was ungrateful for my blessings. For every time I failed to Praise You. For every moment I could have done more in Your Name and didn’t. I promise to try harder.
I’m not shy to let you know I served your father. When he was hungry I cooked and fed him by Allah’s mercy. When he was cold I searched up and down the house for his favorite sweater and house slippers. When he was hot I made his favorite iced tea. When he was upset I asked him to forgive me and be patient with me. When it was Thursday night I helped him get a hair cut and shape his beard. When he asked for me I came. When he called my name I answered. When he advised me I actively listened. When he fell ill I bathed him. I did everything in my power to serve him, and there is nothing wrong with that. I love your father dearly. he taught me everything I know about Allah. Most of All I watched him raise you girls to love me, to chose me, to assist me, to serve me, to understand me, to have patience with me, to cheer me up, to surprise me, to pray for me more than he did for himself. I watched him teach you about the status of your mother, about the difficulty of child birth. He taught you of the best women in Islam. He encouraged you to stand up for yourselves but to serve others who needed help. He taught you to be strong and soft and always used me as the example. I married very young, and wahllah he took care of the Ammanah that my father asked him too. Serving him was an honor, so don’t be shy to serve the father of your children. Do it all for Allah’s sake. And always always always, ask Allah for increased love, knowledge, play, companionship, attraction and patience between one another. For indeed Allah is the most merciful, and loves goodness between husband and wife.

days like these when it’s raining rivers outside and every leaf now washed out of dust is reflecting the skies light, i pull my heart out of my chest and pray: “here ya Rabb, purify me the very same way.”

I cried an ocean of tears but nobody cared. I cried in Sujūd and Allāh gave me Sabr.
اللہ کو یاد کرو گے تو دلوں میں ٹھنڈک آئے گی ورنہ سلگتے رہو گے، سسکتے رہو گے، تڑپتے رہو گے۔

And when the eye no longer cries out of fear of Allaah, know that this drought originates from the hardness of the heart.
Ibn al-Qayyim, Bada’i al-Fawaa’id (v. 3, p. 743)
If you love me, lead me back to faith on the days I feel lost. Remind me that this life is temporary. Ask me if I’ve prayed and the times that I haven’t, smile and tell me it’s not too late. Talk about me to our Lord everytime you make dua. If you love me, always remind me of Allah.
