Y/N M/N L/N (born September 3rd, 2007), known by Y/N, is an Australian singer, rapper, and producer who is based in Los Angeles, California. She is the second youngest member of the global girl group KATSEYE, which debuted on June 28, 2024. The group was made under Hybe and Geffen Records after the global talent show Dream Academy in 2023.
Born in Melbourne, Australia. She became interested in rap music and stated that watching Kanye West's Stronger music video on repeat as a child inspired her to work in music. By age 11, Y/N had taught herself how to use FL Studios and began making her own music and posting it on SoundCloud (which has now been taken down due to HYBE and Geffen Records contract).
In 2023, Y/N joined the global audition show The Debut: Dream Academy. The show was made by Hybe and Geffen Records to create a new global girl group through a traditional kpop survival show style. She came in 5th place in the final episode and became a member of the group KATSEYE.
Within her social and professional circle, Y/N maintains close, sister-like bonds with her KATSEYE group mates and counts former Dream Academy contestant Adéla Jergovå as her absolute best friend outside of the final lineup. Y/N has been seen hanging out celebrities and influencers such as PinkPantheress, Sirena Warren, Addison Rae, Effie, and Conceal
KATSEYE's first song, "Debut", came out on June 28, 2024, Which was a pre release for their EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong). Katseye's second EP was released June 27, 2025, Beautiful Chaos. The group is still very active and continues to make new tracks and songs, including their most recent singles "PINKY UP" and âICONIC BY MISTAKE"
KATSEYE blends stylistic traits of Western pop with the presentation attributed to K-pop. Y/N stated in an interview with i-D, they are "all interested in different fashion and music as well as dance and vocal styles, yet that's what makes" them work so well.
