heavy breaths slipped past her lips,  pistol shaking in small hands. that was way too  close, even for her. it took her a moment to catch her breath, eye remaining on the woman she had just saved. even if she had just gifted the other another day of life, ellie knew that out here people were greedy and that such sentiments did not grant safe passage. still, did not come off as the type to kill a savior.
