When you saw a UFO and it sort of went whoosh

Pink Floyd photographed by Andrew Whittuck, 1967.
It’s a beautiful cat, but it’s the look of baffled outrage that makes it for me.
New mask! Latex, sculpted from a lifecast of my head so it fits better. Made from an offshoot sculpt for the silicone Papa III mask I have being made. Also shown is my new casual suit! Way more accurate, and the patch is friggin’ legit.
"No, Fire, slow down! Stop! You're gonna fly away at this rate!"
one show later...
Papa: "Well everyone, if you happen to hear a face-melting solo wafting in from the breeze, if you look outside your room, yes, take a break from masturbating, heh heh, you might catch a glimpse... of a certain smartass who didn't listen to my warnings."
Later, on an airplane flight...
"If you look out the window to the right, you can see a Nameless Ghoul called Fire currently shredding the solo to Majesty, fifty feet off the right wing." A shoop I needed to do, after watching a livestream of the first ritual of the European Popestar tour 2017.
Wanted to share this video of Alpha singing along to He Is before I melt into a puddle of embarrassment from today’s events

11/5/15 I AM DEAD 💀 I love this band so much and they have literally ruined me!
he is such a dork OMFG
So here we go... This is my “unHOLY SHIT!” project. Well, Part I, anyways ;D
So - first off, this is my costume of Papa Emeritus III. Made from the EXACT SAME MATERIALS as the real deal! The only things that aren't exact is the gold fabric on the mitre, the frilly stuff on the white part of the mitre, and the purple lining.
It's a complete blast to wear - I had my first outing in it last night at the Kansas City, September 30th ritual. Did meet and greet again... and holy shit, Papa and the Ghouls were wide-eyed and speechless again! The crew and merch people loved it, the blond british gal who works the merch table went BONKERS over the costume! "Oh, I really dig your costume!... Wait... Where did you get that fabric?? How the- how the hell did you know those details!!! Holy shit!" she proceeded to take photos of me, took close-ups, and said "I'm showing this to Papa, nice work!"
So after spending an hour or so stuck in the same place as everyone wants a photo (not complaining mind you, it was an awesome experience) it was time for the meet and greet. The guy who sends you in looked at me, leaned back and yelled to Papa "Oh, you're gonna LOVE this guy!"
I met Papa at the bus after the ritual, what a hottie holy sHIT, and he signed my Papa dollar and looked me over and said "Nice work! I dig it. Keep it up." JDFKLAJDFKL;AN HELP
And then I wake up to the OFFICIAL BAND INSTAGRAM posting a picture of me while I was doing my meet and greet - holy shit! HOLY SHIT. HELP. THIS IS AMAZING.
So credits due: Scott Blake of Yordreem Creations, for doing this one-time-only custom commission of both the mask and the costume - total badass and master of his craft. To be clear, he does not sell these.
Sewcherry Onatopp Stitchwork, for drawing up the mitre design, and doing all the embroidery work.
Enjoy! If you wish to join the journey, I'll be posting more to this tumblr (I suck at staying active), and I also post to my instagram, @notpapaemeritus.
If you’ve ever wanted to see Papa II in Papa III’s casual outfit... here ya go.
Hi there! I hope you don't mind me asking this. In your cosplay outfit, ( amazing cosplay, by the way ) how did you do the Grucifix on Papa's jacket? Thanks a bunch! :D
I custom made the design in GIMP, using what references I could find. Took about fifteen hours, and the patch itself is custom embroidery. Was not cheap at all, but totally worth it.
i cannot my sides have Ascended
In line to see ghost and got a picture with @notpapaemeritusiii yeeee!!!! Isn’t his cosplay great??!?!?!
This was a fun meeting :D
So. Holy shit. I saw Ghost live in Omaha, and I spent the entire show in my casual Papa III costume. It was such an experience. When I went up for my meet and greet, Papa and the Ghoul’s eyes were wide, and Papa was eyeing me up and down. And I got to hold his hand! As I was about to leave, he said “I like it! Very good work. I’m proud of you!” and just UGH holy shit. They were so amazing live. Papa pointed at me and gave me a thumbs up twice throughout the show, and during the final portion of Zombie Queen when he has the audience clap, he stared at me, started clapping, and once I started clapping he started clapping faster, and kept eye contact with me during the entire clapping segment. I got into a staring/clapping contest with Papa, and lost. Which is still a great honor. After the show, a good amount of people thought I was really Papa - which was hilarious. Made new friends too! Also met a few cool people from tumblr as well. Overall, I got to experience my first Ghost ritual the way I always dreamed of - in a Papa costume, meeting Papa and the Ghouls, and being noticed by them up on stage several times. It was a wonderful experience.
Papa gets unmasked! Somewhat.
Why the hell did I make the text black you can bARELY READ IT still makes me chortle whenever I see this.
