Q doing cosplays for shits and grins James is totally fine with this and likes to suggest his next costume to use and make. Then one day James gets very into a video game while on leave and begs Q to play one of his favorite guys. Q Shows up proudly to work the next day as Fenris. From dragon age 2. James showers him with gifts and praise and won't stop touching.

sometimes James just sits in the hot shower under the water and practically moans at the sensation of hot water on his head.
the first time Q scooted in and was like yay funnn shower time but was tottly surprised to find james just sitting cross-legged on the shower floor under the shower spray. not doing anything Q had thought he was doing.
well my dog just started howling and I nearly pissed myself
sometimes if he's been very busy Q forgets to wash his hair and it becomes a fussy mess and when he runs his hands through it
it stands straight up in the air.
James doesn't mind very much he likes to braid it when its long enough

James often scouts among Qs minions for the sickly acting ones or ones that seem a bit off. not to hunt them but to bring them to Q so he may inspect them for illness or over working.
