Holy shit that was amazing, I need more, so so so much more.

Honest i enjoy initiative play but with 7 players at the table, and then Matt having to do every single turn of every enemy character in a battle sometimes it could become daunting to watch 3 hours of pure battle mapism.

This system of players being able to jump in and out and some even absconding a little just helped the flow of the battle and really highlighted the story telling in a massive way and it’s just so brilliantly done.

I too had a worry that the quieter players at my table or just any table in general would feel left out or too timid, but here we have Ashley Johnson as Oppy, someone more on the timid side, just showing out during the battle phases and being my personal MVP of the session.

Tweaks and updates to the system are bound to happen, but i for one enjoyed it overall as a first look behind the curtain.
