Thank you for your reply, especially since you've already made a post about it - I must have missed it, again, tumblr newbie, sorry. BUT! I'm actually surprised by his answer, honestly without it I would pin him as a:
1. [generic sports brand] VICTORY ROYALE but make it more MANLY and add CITRUS somewhere there-kinda guy. Especially because in my experience people who did sports to at least some capacity are more drawn to those fresh fragrances.
or:
2. someone who enjoys fragrances that are like campfire deep in the forrest, but it also just rained: cedar, moss, maybe throw in there some amber and leather. Burning Barbershop is definietely the elevated version of that prediction with a bit more layers and sweet twist to it. Seems nice!
I'd like to try the Huda one, but I don't think it will be available in my country for a moment, but from what you've written about it seems pleasant. Hope you will have lovely time wearing it!
Recently, I bought and wore a cheap mist that was supposed to be Giardini Di Toscana Bianco Latte dupe (it was not, lol, but we make do) and I was complimented on it - someone said I smell like a cookie/vanilla desert, so it's a success in my book! I've grown to really love those kind of scents, but with summer and heat comming in, I think I need to switch to more floral-oriented fragrances. I like those too, but man, sometimes in the middle of summer, I miss the sweeter, more heavier ones with vanilla and spices in there.
I wouldn't dare to call myself a perfume nerd, I have really limited knowledge, but it's a fun thing for me for sure!

Yeah!! He likes cars and he's a big guy with a good taste. He used to say that he HATES perfume and just used deodorant. Perhaps he'd just prefer something clean and fresh as you've said!

About Huda perfume, honestly? I wouldn't buy it for myself more. It's very pleasant and elegant, but I don't really like smelling like only one note (it's the sakura scent for me... I literally can't smell nothing else) and it doesn't last that much to my liking :с I hope you could try it too! Maybe you'd like it! <3
Ooohhh, I feel you on that! I really liked wearing sweet Cheirosa 62 in the summer but it just made me choke every time bc we have a heavy heat. Something floral, citrucy and fresh is a go-to for the day! But you can wear sth sweet, vanilla and cute in the night tho?
I really like Libre Le Parfum by YSL. It's very heavy, sweet-daring, spicy with shaffron and lavender. I absolutely adore it! And I wear it even in hot weather bc it doesn't choke me with sweetness. But people say it's more of a night-ish version of Libre.
Same here! I don't really have that much knowledge either. However, we explore more and more throughout the time and will have more experience :)
