Unexpected But Not Unplanned
Eddie had bought Rose’s presents back in October, having remembered years past when he’d forgotten and felt like a fool on the day. At least this time, when he’d forgotten, he’d brought the gifts in advance.
He teleported back to Rose, and handed her a small, understated bag. It wasn’t a gift-bag, but a satchel, something she could continue using if she felt like it. It had several slots for small knives, hidden, so she could use it in her civilian guise but have weapons close at hand.
Inside the bag was a slim photo album. It only had two pictures in- one, a candid picture Rose had tried to destroy when she’d found it taken, but Eddie had rescued. It was a rare picture of Rose smiling, honestly. The second picture was one of Eddie and Rose, from the back, leaning against each other on the roof.
Alongside the photo album was a sizable bottle of whiskey. Eddie thought- why not, she was going to drink, why not give her something to enjoy?
Rose was stood there, looking blankly into the air as Eddie teleported away from her. It left her a little dazed but she suspected he had a surprise for her or something along those lines anyway, either that or he was scared she’d kick his ass for forgetting or something.
She raised an eyebrow at him as he reappeared and then looked at the bag he was handing her. She bit her lip and narrowed her eye before taking the bag slowly, she was expecting a prank of some sort, even though she knew Eddie would never do that to her.
She opened the bag with caution and looked inside, seeing the photo album and pulled it out with a raised eyebrow. She put the satchel under her arm and opened the album seeing the pictures. “You had to have that photo” she muttered, seeing the photo she tried to destroy once over. She ran her fingers over the two photos before closing it, then taking the bottle of whiskey out of the bag.
“Wow, you know me so well” she chuckled eyeing the whiskey with a grin.
"I did hope you'd like it." He grinned back. "And of course it had to be that photo. It's a really nice photo, Rose." Eddie said, moving to sit down on the edge of the roof, the place they kept coming back to- could never get away from.
"Don't drink it all at once. I don't want to be responsible for your liver failing." He said, chuckling and shaking his head.
Urgh. Note to self.
“Fuck…” Rose practically tackles the red skinned male into the wall as she launches a full on hug at him. “You demonic shit head! Where have you been?!”
He hugged her back, laughing. “I was dead for a while. I’ve just been… Around, I guess.”
“Idiot. I know you were dead!” She bops him playfully on the head. “But like..where were you? Hell? C’mon. Spilllllllll!”
Eddie shifted uncomfortably where he stood. "I... Don't want to talk about it."
Urgh. Note to self.
“Do not go to creepy highway bars where all the guys are complete and utter pervs. At least I kicked their heads in…”
“You should have called me. I’d have done my whole ‘hellspawn’ routine.”
Rose blinks a few times at the familiar voice, but she doesn’t really believe she’s hearing it. “Well look what Hell dragged up…” The ex assassin turns to him with an overjoyed smile on her face. “That really you, Eddy?”
“It’s really me, Rosie.” Eddie grinned, offering a hug.

Hey, Joey.
Jericho blinked in surprise at the sight of the other. Wasn’t…didn’t he die?! Regardless, he gave Eddie a big smile and a wave. “Hi Eddie!” he signed.
"How're you?" He asked, signing along. He might not have to, but it felt strange, being signed at and not doing it back.

“Hola there, diablo rojo.”
Let it be known that you cannot have my soul.
"Uh... Hi."
I don't want your soul, dude.

“Well, what do you wanna do?”
“I’m kinda hungry, why don’t we go get a cheeseburger or something?”
“I suppose food could be good. I haven’t eaten in a while…”
“Then let’s go, yeah?”
“Sure” she grinned and gestured for him to lead the way.
He led her towards his favorite cafe, opening the door and grinning at the woman behind the counter. She knew him fairly well, and had no problems with the way he looked. "This place is really good."

“I never said you couldn’t.” She let out a chuckle and folded her arms “I take it you’ve missed me then?”
“I might’ve…” He grinned back.
“Of course you have” Rose responded smugly. “It is me, after all.”
“Yeah, it is.”
“So how do you propose we catch up? Midnight pool meeting?”
“… If that’s what you want?”
“Well, what do you wanna do?”
