Introduction

Hello! My name is Jamz, I am 19 years old and I make a webcomic called Rabid. I also sell crafts locally (working on getting them online in the new year). I always find I sound way more productive than I actually feel, haha. I struggle with anorexia, depression, anxiety - and I also have autism.

I guess I was feeling extra lonely and depressed this Christmas, so I decided to start a blog? Art account? I don't really know. I want to write about my experiences I guess :') Thanks for reading this either way, and maybe you'll see me post some more soon.

Does anyone elses art style change depending on what medium they use to draw? I feel like as soon as I paint/draw on my phone, my art style becomes infinitely more anime than anything else

A small story...

My boyfriend had a group of friends that I was also friends with - but it was more like his friends than mine (does that make sense??) I asked them out for drinks, no response really. A couple weeks pass and I ask again, because we haven't seen each other properly since college ended. Eventually, I asked a final time, about a month later. I was met by another friend sending me a screenshot of a secret chat they had. She was making fun of me, saying how embarrassing it was that I was asking, talking about my height, and just not being very nice. In a group chat with ALL our friends! I felt so betrayed, I swear I cried for a solid few hours before realizing... I didn't even like them very much! I liked the idea of having people I could spend time with, or drink with, but they weren't nice. So I suppose in a way, it was a really good opportunity to cut some people out of our lives. It still sucks to catch people talking about you negatively, but in the end, they were barely a blip in my time.

Anyway, I painted this while I was in a really bad mindset after the fact, and I don't absolutely hate it so I guess I'll share it with a bunch of strangers!

Inspired by White Snake I think ~ It wasn't ever meant to be a full painting, just a sketch - so I half assed it the whole way through until I realised I finished it. So it looks a bit uncomprehensive and like a strange mix of my style with something else but it's alright
