This thing was not an organic. Or was it? It half smelled of metal. It half smelled of flesh. Shadow tilted his head to the side, curious, and pressed his big wet nose right into Pipit’s chest fur. A deeep breath was taken. Interesting scent. He would need to keep it in mind. The big beast sat down, curling his tail near his leg a bit. If this was another reject, just like him, he had to take care of it. Stick with your own kind, right? Want to be….friends? There was a small nose scrunch of distaste. Not…friends. More like…acquaintances, but how was he suppose to tell this-how was he suppose to tell Pipit (what a name) about his idea? Defeated he gave in. Fine. Friends it was. In order to say his own name he pointed to his own shadow and then jabbed a finger to himself. He was Shadow. There was a small gesture to the whole ARK, and then another jab at himself. The ARK was his.
"Are you alright?" Pipit continued to stare in awe as the larger creature seemed to be jumping back and forth while spinning in circles. He wasn't sure what it was trying to say anymore. Was he trying to say his name?
"I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me. What if I just call you puppy? You look a lot like Shadow too. Puppy Shadows?" He carefully reached his hand out towards the large creature, waiting for its reaction. Maybe it accepted him now?
