I love the antithesis of Daenerys becoming the Queen in her own right after passing through all possible female subservient positions of her station: daughter, sister, wife, mother.

Her father always meant to marry his daughter to one of his sons as soon as one survived no matter her inclination like it was for Naerys, her lookalike, or as Jaehaerys himself had made clear about the first Daenerys though she was a firstborn: she would survive against the odds, but he didn't live to do anything about it.

Her brother used her for an alliance meant for his political benefit as her life purpose like Daeron did with the second Daenerys, and many others like him, but Viserys died without gaining anything from it.

She maintains a relationship with her husband by carefully performing sexual acts properly to stay in his good graces and fears repercussions in the case that she crosses the limit in what she can demand in return: he dies leaving her a Khalesi to a fractured, weak Khalasar, but it is her own to lead.

She would have dedicated her life to raising her son Rhaego for a great destiny and would not even be allowed to witness it or reap any satisfaction - once Rhaego would become Khal it means she is a widow to be disposed of to the Dosh Khaleen.

The world is harsh to a young woman who tries to defy any of those in her world, and fandom even harsher, but it won't change all the character represents, or the inspirational figure she would actually be in the world she lives in.
