Sorry, Sunglasses. Woulda answered this a li’l earlier but I had to make it past airport security, board the plane, find my seat, yadda, y’know?

Nope, it won’t be. Gon’ be totally causal. Almost everyone’ll be finishin’ up their respective brands’ tours or got somethin’ else happenin’ in their busy lives. We planned on it bein' majority family from jump. Now, I wouldn’t turn anyone away. If a few of y'all wanna make that trek to Tampa to celebrate, by all means, you’re more than welcome to come on through. I’m cool with most of the people here, anyway; pretty much solid folk all ‘round.

In other news-- who’s forever the man Sushi king? Ain’t the biggest stack of plates I’ve conquered but it’s a good size for a man whose digestive system’s acclimatin’ itself to eatin’ raw foods again.

Annnd I’m almost certain that’s one of those legendary Kraken painted onto my cup! Wonder if it’s available for purchase...?

Since we’re givin’ some love to our significant others, I wanna join in, if I can. Galina granted me her blessin’ to travel my still-not-officially-cleared self across the Pacific on an over eighteen-hour flight. Without those words of encouragement, I doubt I woulda journeyed all this way. She’s stayin’ in Tampa with our children, I’m here solo.

Wanna add a special shout-out to my daughter, Joelle, who kissed me goodbye and asked that I not only return home the way I left but that I take as many pictures as possible of “anything coool, daddy”! That’s my kid, y’all.

I have the greatest family a man could ever ask for ‘cause they understand. ‘Least… I hope they do.

No worries, weddin’ guests. Physically, I’m fine, but I’ll be stayin’ outta the spotlight for most of the night. Alcohol’s off limits, per my doctor’s orders, gotta watch what I eat since I’ splurgin’ at the moment. and I’m prolly only good for one to two party dances. Your boy’ll be in attendance, though, and I’m gonna make the best of it.

My boy Big Mike C’s posted a pic from June on Twitter today sayin’ that it’s never a disappointment when I’m in town. That town bein’ Baltimore, where RAW is tonight. Now, I’m not sayin’ I’m roamin’ the hallways of Royal Farms Arena, but...

I’ll grab a post-it note and stick it up where it can always be seen. That way it’ll be there when a reminder is needed. Right, man, right; kind of, uh, slipped my mind, but rain would get old after you had to deal with all the after effects of a hurricane. Heh, you did say G told you they get to clappin’ when I’m shown on TV, and Jo keeps ‘em up to date with various photos. Nice to know I won’t have fallen back into that ‘stranger’ category by the time I do actually get to see ‘em again. And ‘course I don’t mind you sendin’ some photos; they’d be welcome anytime. That’s right, they’re gonna have their own private way of communicatin’ before long. It may have even already started, but it’ll really get goin’ as their vocabulary grows. Dude, the fact that the travelin’ and beddin’ parts are taken care of before hand is a blessin’. I’d probably be sleepin’ on the bus if we had to handle the room bookings ourselves, haha. As for the Blue Team, pfft, they got the drop once but it won’t happen again. We’re just bidin’ our time, keepin’ ‘em on their toes while they worry ‘bout some retaliation. Hopefully you will be there by the time that comes, ‘cause the Shield ain’t truly the Shield when we’ve got one man down.

Got me feelin’ all shades of special. ‘Ey, my man, no worries. Livin’ in the desert like ya do, it’s difficult to keep up tabs on what’s happenin’ in the other regions at all times. Not to mention, when it ain’t sunny in Florida, the palm trees are gettin’ a washin’. The twins dig ya so they’ll definitely remember your face whenever you can walk through our door. Ain’t no rush; you’ve got the new address, we plan on stayin’ here for the long haul. In other words, you could never be a stranger to my family. You’re practically an official member. Oh, buddy, you opened the floodgates! Expect all the Halloween pictures sent to ya by the end of next week. My twins are always laughin’ when they “talk” to each other already. My house’ll prolly be filled with giggles for years to come. And I’m gonna love it. Man, you know that’s the truth; if we can cop for decent hotel digs on someone else’s dime, not much to complain ‘bout. Haha, I wouldn’t doubt you'd consider cowboy stretchin’ anywhere ya could. Sometimes ya gotta do what’cha gotta. Fortunately, that’s not the case for the next two weeks. ‘Ey, I’m all for brand loyalty but Shane was actin’ like a damn mob boss before the roster clashed, straight up. If it were up to me, I’d be out tossin’ bodies ‘n’ wieldin’ chairs on Monday but… I’ve gotta bide my time for now.

Ain’t always gonna agree with the weather or whatever else, but home is home for a reason. Doesn’t mean we can’t complain on occasion. Haha, you are often tellin’ me that I gotta see ‘em – and I do wanna see ‘em again, believe me. Won’t be happenin’ for a while now due to everything, but I wouldn’t object to a photo or two. Won’t be the same as seein’ their antics in person, but y’know. Bettin’ their already well started on their own secret code. Shit, you ain’t kiddin’ ‘bout two weeks bein’ a long time in some cases. The hotel room will probably be an oasis durin’ a lotta the trip. Then again, considerin I’m one-half of the tag champs this go ‘round, wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more media penciled into my schedule. ‘Ey, Joe, the important thing is you gettin’ back to 100%, right? Do wish you could be comin’ with us or ‘least stop by Monday, but it’s better that you stay home and relax. Don’t wanna be pushin’ yourself so soon after recoverin’.

Take all those notes you need. Post-it note that. Never gonna stop bein’ true, either. This year I’m just sorta tired of the rain. As I petitioned to Woodway durin’ our Ride Along, Irma got me. Got a lotta people, no doubt. ‘Ey, man, do your thing. They’ll be waitin’ for ya, whenever ya wanna show up. G gets the kids to watchin’ the programmin’, they know who ya are. If ya don’t mind me sendin’ a coupla photos tonight, I’ll send ‘em through. It’s cool, J. We’re busy people. Uce, the secret code’s been established. Now I’m waitin’ for ‘em to create their own language. Dunno if I’m excited or not for that day. By the time I crack it, I’ll prolly find out they were talkin’ ‘bout their old man behind his back. My boys, haha. Man, it’s not always the height of the perks considerin’ time adjustments and all, but it does take some pressure off that the fights ‘n’ lodgin’ are paid for. Right, yeah, they’ll certainly wanna talk to you, Champ. Take some pics with the title gleamin’. Nah, ‘ey, yeah, you’re right. Would’ve loved to sit backstage on Monday, be a lookout ‘cause the Blue Squad wants to make their way through the backway, again. Can’t even argue with ya, bruh. Not when your boys are there havin’ a good ol’ time. That’s exactly what I’m doin’ – gettin’ my fill of quality me time, ‘cause soon I’m gonna be stuck ‘round everyone else for two weeks. The horror! That’s what I wanna hear. Goes the same for you. The sun’s only out ‘cause it’s daytime some days but, ‘ey, it’s home and if I wanted to bounce, I would’ve years ago. I was only complainin’... a li’l. Jon, Matty ‘n’ Jonny-- it’s like every time I talk to ya, I’m tellin’ you that you’ve gotta see ‘em. They’re walkin’ a few steps, quite a few steps at times, while holdin’ hands before they sit ‘n’ start gigglin’. They love each other so much. Oh, absolutely, you’ve gotta get the time in for you. That’s important ‘cause two weeks is a long time to be sittin’ in the back of the bus with a few people in our locker room. Heh, yeah, I know you were kiddin’ ‘round. I’m, uh, I’m doin’ the best I can. Wish I could be flyin’ to Baltimore, but that’s outta the question now.

Took an entire twenty-four hours off from social media and, I’ve gotta say, I didn’t miss the rigmarole that comes with dealin’ with anonymous keyboard crusaders up in my business. May havta become a habit from this point forward. 

Good to see the rest of y’all, though. Had my last round of immunizations today, I’m officially a member of the free world again. Been advised to take it easy; swellin’ is still an issue. Walkin’ don’t feel like my limbs are crushin’ underneath me anymore so Galina drove me to a local park. Ended sittin’ on the nearest park bench but it was nice to be out soakin’ in the sun rays, breathin’ in some warm oxygen.

‘Ey, man. I was gonna send you a text ‘soon as I got settled to check on ya -- I’m tired but can’t nap ‘cause my mind’s racin’ -- but, yeah, I’m home now. The kids’re stayin’ with Summer, G’s here with me. She’s sleepin’ in the guest room ‘til I get the clear. Uce, this was not how I thought this week would go. But, uh, the general timeline or how they worded it, my “penciled in return”, is for Survivor Series. ‘Round then. They could be holdin’ me off for storyline purposes ‘till that time if I’m cleared. Could be longer.
