The helmsman lies, the captain is drunk and the engineer’s sunk into dull lethargy the crew are loud perjurious scoundrels the radioman too cowardly to signal SOS. Klabautermann pilots the ship of fools full speed ahead and course to the reef.

(Klabautermann is some kind of evil spirit who sinks German ships. I’m sure there’s an English equivalent, but I don’t know what it is.)

The other money launderers and pimps--they're waiting already-- Bordello kings, slot machine barons, In broad daylight--nobody has to sneak around in darkness. In the banana republic where even the President Has lost his shame and has no scruples against adorning the tax thieves in his entourage...
