âAlright, are you ready? I have a joke, itâs a really good one.â
Ib was practically jumping up and down as she looked up at Phoenix, eyes as bright as diamonds and with a smile to match.
âI did it! Iâm a princess now!â She suddenly bolted forward, hugging Phoenix tightly. She was so happy!
âYep, you sure did it. Enjoy it, you deserve every moment of it.â Seeing her huge smile again actually kind of... made Phoenix a bit happy, too. It has been a while since he saw her like this. âSo, how does it feel?âÂ
âHey, Ib! Sorry I couldnât make it sooner, I was kind of on a bit of work, but... Congrats on winning flower princess. You deserve it.â

âMy eternal mentor.â
âHey, ghosts arenât always bad. I mean, sometimes they are, but...â
"alt!"
âAnother one of you humans, huh? Seems like this place is just filled with âem. But⊠since youâre here, kiddoâŠâ
â⊠Snrk. Can⊠can I touch your skin? Never seen a human before, and yâknow, word gets around that you donât have fur like the normal people do. I mean, I can see that.â
âIâm just curious, is all. Pretty sure youâre curious too. Iâll tell everything ya wanna know. All about that âalien raceâ and all that you keep babbling about. Can you do it for me, just this once?â
Wolf OâDonnell - A Fox In Space webseries. God I fucking love this loser. Thereâs not a lot of canon material for him (yet) so itâs mostly headcanon and a bit of Star Fox canon as well, but I just love this asshole so much. I hope I can play him someday.
Send me "alt!" and I'll introduce you to a character I've rped in the past, want to play in the future or are currently playing somewhere else!
âIf you wouldnât mind, thatâd be lovely. Iâve just been put in a district with a lot of maintenance and find myself in need of large shears.â
âAlright, no problem. I think itâs close from here. Oh, uh, Iâm Phoenix. Phoenix Wright. Whatâs your name?â
@notthatspiky·
Heâs seen that blue suit before. He knows exactly who this is. âSirâŠ! Get down!â
And before the man can duck, heâs struck all over with ice cold water guns.
âWhoa--!â Well, he tried to duck. At least sort of. (Why always me...?)
âU-Um, whatâs happening? Why did I...?â
@notthatspiky
âExcuse me, you wouldnât happen to know where I could buy a pair of shears, do you? My.. new home seems to be a little too green for my liking.â
âShears? I think you could buy that gardening stuff in the shopping sector... Do you want me to lead you there, mister?â
@notthatspiky
âAre⊠you sure youâre alright? It lookedâno, it sounded like you hit your head pretty hard. Perhaps you should sit down.â
âIâm, Iâm fine. The bike didnât even... didnât even hit me.â Except it kind of did. And hitting his head on a telephone pole didnât really help.

If Trucy was being honest, this entire situation terrified her. She didnât understand what was going on and after an hour of searching for Daddy or Polly she was starting to wonder if there were no familiar faces around. As much as Apollo thought she had no sense of fear whatsoever, and as much as sheâd deny being a child, she still needed her dad, especially in situations like this where sheâd been kidnapped and supposedly brought to another universe. Which she was so not going to question at the moment. Sheâd question it after she either found someone from home or found this housing theyâd given her.
She dragged her feet as she walked slowly through the streets, checking in every alleyway and shop front to make sure she didnât miss her dad. If he was here. Which she hoped he was. Sure, theyâd  both be science experiments, but theyâd be science experiments together and sheâd feel better having him around. Even if he was a terrible piano player and hadnât retaken the bar exam yet.
Did it count as breaking his promise when sheâd been the one to disappear and not him?
Her legs were beginning to hurt and she was starting to seriously consider giving up her search when she spotted him. If not for his spiky hair, she wouldnât have even recognized him. He was wearing a suit, just like when theyâd first met and heâd tried defending her real daddy. He hadnât worn anything that professional in a long and for a second she couldnât help but stare at him.
And then tears formed in her eyes and she went running toward him. âD-Daddy!â She slammed into him, wrapping her arms tightly around him as she pressed her face against his chest. âDaddy!â He was here! She wasnât completely alone!
Just another day for Phoenix Wright. Of course, thatâd probably mean something bad or something weird would happen, but he was kind of excited for today, even though he didnât really know why. Maybe it was just a good feeling. Maybe heâd go to eat something, like noodles or whatever. Just another common day. He didnât really know where to go, but for some reason, that feeling of excitement was still there, and he couldnât explain why.
Still, Phoenix continued walking towards somewhere, not really noticing the crowd around him. He was a bit distractedâbut it seemed the world wanted to get his attention somehow. Out of nowhere, a random magician started hugging him and calling him⊠âDaddyâ? What the heck was even happening.
âU-Um. I think you got the wrong person. Iâm not your, uh, dad.â You could pretty obviously hear the confusion on his voice.
Alt!
âIf it werenât for you, none of this would have happened.â
Those words echoed in Moriâs mind, and it seemed like it would never stop echoing. Of course it was his entire fault, why wouldnât it be? Everything that he does, it always ends up like this. Everyoneâs hurt, and heâs back here, alone. Even when he discovered climbing, he knew that socializing was pointlessâhe had to do it on his own. No one to interfere and no one else to hurt. Alone, in the mountain.
He never really had any hobbies. He never really had a friend. And now, more than ever, he realized that heâd be better off without any of those things. All that he needed was climbing, and heâd do it solo. He wanted that feeling again, that feeling of being alive high up in the mountains. That feeling of seeing the view, and the view looking right back at you, with no one else there but you and the view. Companions, ropes, those things were always going to keep holding him back.
He quickly glanced around his small room. His parents werenât here, even though he was a high school student, and his apartment was really small, probably enough to one person to live in, and thatâs when he saw it. The equipment that journalist sent him. He remembered the conversationââYou want to climb alone? Did you ever climb on an ice mountain before?â. He was thinking about it. He knew his teacher wouldnât like it, but that didnât matter. Nothing really mattered. All he wanted to do is climb.
âIâve got to go. Iâve got to hurry up and goâŠâ
