He looked over at the pretty blonde woman from his spot in the corner, surprised she had even spoke to him. By now the artificial man was used to his presence being entirely ignored on the off chances that those who were unfortunate enough to get a glimpse of him weren’t completely horrified.  

“Ed--Edward,” he finally answered, voice as soft and quiet as ever. The dull blades he called fingers twitched slightly, mostly due to a mixture of nerves and restlessness.
