this post is already doing numbers so idc if you reblog this addition or not, but this was specifically in reference to fansly cracking down on specific fetish creators, starting with slightly niche areas like hypno and ageplay under bullshit claims over "dubious consent" (in and of itself, a kink umbrella), as well as public/exhibition kinks with stringent privacy rules (ie; must be in a backyard that is properly fenced off and hidden from view of others). I've seen these changes 'justified' and even brushed off by some larger creators in that space, or moralized as 'oh fansly doesn't like making these changes either, it just wants to stay in mastercard/visa's good graces :( don't be mad guys'

It wasn't until fansly wholesale banned furry nsfw of any kind, including anthro, with the reasoning being that it's "simulated bestiality" that it received heavier backlash.

Man, sometimes I don't like being a student aspiring to become a storybook artist, because my drawings are smaller than a thumb and too simple. And it's fun to draw Piglet, because he's supposed to be small, but I still struggle with his size HAHA... Ha.

And I finally got to draw Tigger with his full body.

I know, he doesn't look like the original Disney version, nor even like the illustration from the original book; but that's because they're just visual headcanons for him, completely personal, leaning toward the basic ideas of Disney's Tigger but also seeking a "redesign" of his appearance.

I couldn't forget about our dear friend with speech disabilities. Owl!

I tried to give him a slightly more "furry" or "puffy-feathered" look on his face, simulating a beard on his cheeks and chin (they're just feathers). Of course, I gave him little glasses, a pocket watch he can't read,

and pants... why not?

Every time I see an owl walking on the ground, its feet have feathers stuck to them, making it look like "little pants". It's a really fun and cute look, you should see it!

Honestly, I like to see Kanga as a more multifaceted character than Dismey ever made her out to be.

I can easily understand that not even in the original book: Kanga had no major involvement other than being a mother figure to Roo and Tigger. AND I KNOW IT.

But it hurts me...

So I enjoy looking at some specific quotes from the original book and making my own interpretation of it.

Some will say that Kanga just wanted to go home for no particular reason, others will assume that Roo had already been playing for a long time and Kanga didn't approve that.

BUT IF YOU ASK ME, I see her as suspicious about the presence of Pooh, Rabbit and Piglet. I'm not saying that they make her afraid, but I am happy to say with complete confidence that Kanga WAS ANXIOUS.

At least, that's what I like to see.

At Disney she always appeared serene, kind, although a little clueless at times. But I feel that that image was too empty or very typical of a flat character, leaving aside all the potential there was to give her more facets.

All of that is my justification for having drawn her (if that counts as a drawing)... with a worried face.

Just my personal interpretation, but I like to imagine that the animals in Winnie the Pooh all have similiar personalities to Christopher Robin's family/friends irl.

He's a little boy playing and imagining these characters and stories in his head, and it makes sense that he would only imagine personalities that he's familiar with?

In that way, Kanga's personality, to me, feels like... Christopher Robin imagining his own mother. How his mother talks and cares for him and her personality is all shining through Kanga.

He doesn't imagine much more for her because... well... he's a child who doesn't see his parents as people yet. If that makes sense.

I mean but I could just be reading into Winnie the Pooh WAY too much lol 😂

It's nice to know there are people out there who share this fear, though. I know personally if I had OCs get super popular, I wouldn't have a problem with people doing near anything to them. Even if I didn't see the characters the way someone headcanons them or if people shipped things I didn't really like.

You reflect the personalities of the characters so well and I must admit that even the situations that arise are quite similar to WTP. Every day I check AO3 to try to see if it's been updated, because if it happens I'm really going to have a happy heart attack. I love this fanfic, and I also love you as its author 😘

☆ Mark my words, I'll shout a very loud "HIM", pointing to the one from 1997!

Yes I know! The Rabbit from 2011 is supposed to be the "best", since it is the most modern one (Before Live Action). It has a remarkably fluid animation, in interviews they claim to give it a different animation since it is a real animal, unlike the other characters/stuffed animals. But I am not entirely comfortable with this Rabbit, since I feel that they took away many characteristics of his personality that had always been shown. For example, before he was a little more "effeminate" (to say the least), in addition to his kinesic language (and sometimes also his words) showing a delicate and even sophisticated side of him. Anyway, I'm glad they never chose to change their nervous/anxious attitude, but of course, the downside is that their facial expressions were exaggerated and maybe a little more exciting than they once were.

On the other hand, the 1997 Rabbit is great! He was always rooted in his initial personality, without the need to eliminate his way of being a grumpy guy. It was faithful, classic, and they kept the fact that Rabbit is one of the few critically thinking characters. I love the fact that he looked adorable (pointing to his physical appearance). I think "cute" is very important when we talk about the characters in WTP, they all tend to be cute or at least easy on the eyes, I'm not sure if the reason for that is because the movie was aimed at little kids, but still That's how it fascinates me. Rabbit is very adorable, and I personally think it's the only movie in which he looks this cute. I love it! He has a very pretty face, his ears tend to droop sometimes. Rabbit's eyes had slightly larger dark pupils, I think that's what allowed him to look as nice as he did.

In conclusion, the 1997 Rabbit was my favorite. I hope one day I can draw him the way he looked in that movie.

Yes!! Pooh's Grand Adventure has always and probably will always be my favorite depiction of all the characters, but especially Rabbit! 1997 Rabbit is the version I picture when I think of him.

2011 is great and funny in its own way, but the character depictions have always felt off to me in that movie. I much prefer 1997. They're all so cute! 😊🩷

Antis are so braindead that they'll attack ships that aren't even proships because they perceive a character a certain way.

"That character is child-coded!" And then the character is an adult with a fun and bubbly personality.

"They're literally implied father and daughter!" No bestie, that's your headcanon.

"That character is a minor!" And then it's a character that is clearly an adult that has an occupation and is independent, but they're below average height and have small breasts.

It's so funny seeing antis attack ships that aren't even proships because they think their headcanons are canon.
