Sometimes I wish incest wasn't considered one of the "dark" tropes. Not that I don't enjoy dark content but sometimes I just want to see two siblings in love without any of the other dark stuff attached. I wish people would make wholesome fluff fanfics for sibling romance in the same way that any other ship gets
It honestly feels like a lot of my fandoms have been ruined by the congregation of everyone on Twitter or Tiktok. So many new people came into fandoms without knowing the culture or inside jokes and shared their opinions on everything.
Several years ago, if someone didn't want to see specific content such as darkships, they blocked or ignored such, and in some cases that content was in niche forums you wouldn't normally stumble across. But now people ACTIVELY search for it just to "expose" or troll someone. And it's usually for internet brownie points.
I miss when fandoms had their own forums, websites and such.
Actually no one should be having sex. All of us are aged-up minors and the passage of time is inherently problematic
WHAT DO YOU MEAN FOX NEWS AIRED A LUIGI FANCAM WITH A RENAI CIRCULATION ENGLISH COVER 😭
My state is banning "obscene depictions of minors in content (or someone that looks like one)"
It's safe to say that they don't care about protecting real kids. If they did, child marriage and child beauty pageants would be outlawed.
More than likely, they're using this to conveniently label LGBT content as obscene and then ban it, regardless of context. But of course, if I question this, I'll be called a pedophile.
Hearing some 12 year olds on the internet act like they're experts in psychology and say that proshipping is a bad coping mechanism is the most hilarious thing ever
discussions around proshipping as a coping mechanism is so funny, I saw people comparing it to the likes of alcohol and self harm as if proshipping is worse than doing both of these combined
I hate when I tell people I'm a proshipper and they're like "wow you must have some real horrible trauma to have to turn to proshipping as a coping mechanism" when it is in fact, not my coping mechanism at all and I just like proships
Impressive.
That one guy who doesn't like ANYTHING
"proshipper art style" i am GOING to shit on your ceiling.
Same with the "gooner artstyle"
I cannot stand Pinterest users, how dim and immature are you
*(I can't verbalize this just image a very long and frustrated groaning noise here) *
Shout-out to fandoms and communities that scared all the antis away from joining. They're always the most wholesome and non-toxic communities I've interacted with.
who else went through the proship-anti-proship phase
My mind tends to slip into this basically every other day
Antis: keep your proshipping stuff private, nobody wants to see that.
Proshippers: okay, we will put trigger warnings and make our own spaces to post content.
Antis: *clicks on said content anyway and complains about it*
