🛠️ BUILD/BUY MODE CHEAT CODES
These cheats unlock items, objects, or features in the base game and expansions, primarily for Build/Buy mode or Live mode. You can copy and paste the code into the console and press Enter.
Unlock All Build/Buy Items
bb.showhiddenobjects: Unlocks hidden objects, such as collectibles (e.g., Sugar Skulls, Holiday Cracker Plushies, Magic Beans) and environmental items.
bb.showliveeditobjects: Unlocks debug objects, including decorative items like non-driveable cars, public lot props (e.g., benches, signs), and background buildings. These are often free but have limited functionality (e.g., houses can’t be entered).
Usage: After entering both cheats, go to Build mode, search for “DEBUG” in the search bar, and browse the extensive list of objects. Place them as desired.
✏️Note: Debug objects are ideal for custom builds but may not be interactive.
Free Real Estate
FreeRealEstate on: Makes all homes and lots free to purchase or move into, allowing access to premium lots without earning Simoleons.
Disable: Use FreeRealEstate off to revert.
Usage: Enter this cheat in the neighborhood or world view.
Move Objects Freely
bb.moveobjects on: Allows placing objects anywhere, ignoring placement rules (e.g., stacking items, placing objects off-grid, or overlapping). Enhances creative building with existing content.
Disable: Use bb.moveobjects off.
Usage: Enter in Build mode. Hold Alt for finer placement control or to place objects off-grid. Alternatively, use F5 for quarter-tile placement.
đź’ˇ Tip: Use ALT while placing an object to freely move it off the grid. Combine with 9 and 0 to raise/lower it! To rotate objects freely, use < and > keys.
Resize Objects
In Build mode, select an object and use:
Shift + ]: Increase size.
Shift + [: Decrease size.
Usage: Useful for customizing furniture or decor (e.g., shrinking a painting for a smaller space). Note that animations (e.g., fireplaces) or cutouts (e.g., windows) may not scale properly.
Ignore Gameplay Unlocks
bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement: Unlocks items typically locked behind career levels, aspirations, or specific gameplay conditions (e.g., career reward objects like high-end computers or decor).
Usage: Enter in Build mode to access these items in the catalog.
