kim dokja when he first meets cho youngran: incorrectly assumes that lee sookyung is just using her because he only knows the version of her that he "read"

lee sookyung when she first meets yoo joonghyuk: incorrectly assumes that he's using kim dokja because she only knows the version of him that she "read"

and this only serves to highlight the way kim dokja copes by separating himself from reality, because lee sookyung realizes immediately that she was wrong when faced with the reality in front of her, while kim dokja doubles down again and again even as the fourth wall shakes. i have to send my son back to reality......
