Of course that's worse. If they catch one person it's not going to go away in either scenario. If it's one person there will be copy cats, and if it's more than one the rest will keep working. Its psychology. I think...

The blonde rolled her eyes and sat down, still glancing out the window every so often. “If I get savagely murdered by some idiot, I’m blaming you.”
“I’ll take the blame and an award.” She said as she typed on her laptop.
Daphne gave her friend a look, indicating that she was actually serious. “My sisters friend was literally attacked a few days ago and you want to tell me that we’re actually safe?”
“Yes?” She huffed. “Listen, you’re being paranoid as hell and it’s annoying. Sit down and finish your paper.”
“Yeah? Some weird class you signed up for.” she said, crossing her arm as she waited for the next question. She raised her brows, “I don’t mind it, what about you? Is that fine if I ask you? Don’t want to interrupt the.. session we’re having.”
“You can ask. I adore it. Next question: can I buy you a coffee?”
“Oh, hell no. That’s fucking weird in my opinion.” Lyra said, trying to look over the clip board, “So what is this for again? These questions are pretty random.”
“It’s just something for some class I’m taking.” She shrugged. “Okay next question.... ya like kissin’ girls?”
“–Okay, you seriously owe me after all this. I’ll pay for you just…c’mon already.”
“Okay, okay... just gotta find my pants...”
Is this what people say about me? I’m flattered someone thinks I’m actually capable of doing that.
Maya laughed, and wrote on her clip board. “Okay next question: have you ever lusted after a 50 year old man?”
“I’m serious, Novak. There was someone standing out there.”
Maya sighed, peeking her head out the curtain. “I don’t know what it is with you and the other people in this town... but we have as just as many murders as the next town. There’s nothing out there.”
