(I still find it a huge shame that Ophelia met and got herself too invested in the affairs of 3 reckless blondes so much so that I found out she has a type and that type is reckless blondes but never actually ended up dating any of them.

(She’s the type of mom personality that gets all huffy and lecture-y because she stresses out that slightest bit of irresponsibility or straying out from the sidewalk can get someone hurt and she doesn’t want that, so if you step off the sidewalk she’ll explain and slightly lecture you for like an hour as to why you shouldn’t do that.
It’s not the rude or abusive type of lecturing, like she won’t call you names or stupid or anything, it’s just like the kind of lecturing where she’d poof up a book of rules on the subject and explain them all and make absolutely sure you understand why [insert irresponsible action here] is or could be harmful.
Then she feels bad and like she overreacted so she tries to cheer you up and probably takes you out for ice cream or something.
This usually means you get ice-cream a lot for little to no cost tbh.)

The taller woman took in a deep breath like she was going to say another rebuttal, then let out in…opened her mouth and…then just closed it again, and took another breath. Then she let it out again in a sigh.
“You’re right an’ it pisses me off…buts you’re right. I suppose that is a concerns to have, but even thens I wouldn’t actually sell it to someone who can’t use its. That would just be takin’ moneys from them for essentially a fancy piece of paper. Not good business.”
She crossed her arms under her chest and scuffed the floor slightly with her boot. “Also…I’m sorrys I called yous Peggy Preachalots, that was childish of mes, an’ yous seem like an okay gal an’ didn’t deserve it.”
Well now she just felt bad...in fact all of this felt kinda silly now that the moment was over.
“I uh...I should be the one apologizing for being far too overbearing, I’m sure you have everything all figured out and it wasn’t right of me to just assume based on a few observations without consulting you first...it’s just a bit of a soft spot. I’ve been alive quite a while and seen quite a few incidents as a result of irresponsibility and ignorance, and that’s led to magic overall getting a bad reputation and falling out of use over time because of it.”
“I think we just got off on the wrong foot, so it might be best to turn that around for a better start right?”
“I’m Ophelia, Ophelia Willow, it’s nice to meet a fellow magic practitioner.”
