she had a cigarette perched between her fingers, a bad habit that anika had been trying to break. but given the fact that she had been influenced by luce in the past, it was bound for anika to fall into similar habits as he did. she wasn’t sure who approached who, but there she stood, side by side with jasmine and anika lifts a brow. “did you want a puff or something?” she asks the other. “what did you want?”

𝐆𝐖𝐄𝐍'𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 out of the girls anika had been familiar with ------ she was N I C E . . . anika wishes that there were some other word she could describe the other and a part of her feels bad for it. but she sits with the other, dragging a plum red polish over her nails, the scent stinging anika’s nose as she does so. “you know what i haven’t had in a while?” she asks, lifting her head to glance over at the other. “a cappucino ------” anika would make one herself, be she wouldn’t even know where to begin. perhaps it was her privilege that caused this, but regardless, a sigh leaves her lips and anika blows at her painted nails.

“what about you, gwen?” she asks. “what do you miss that we can’t have anymore?”
