What a novice. It was clear by the mess the other left that they were not used to being discrete in any way. She had not yet even attempted to dispose of the corpses! How careless. On the other hand, it was rare for him to stumble upon such a scene. While he was often surrounded by scenes with death being the most prominent element, it was uncommon for him to simply find them. This was entirely due to the fact that he was the one creating those scenes for the most part. He might as well have been a grim reaper of sorts; the lives he had ended had surpassed the triple digits long ago. While he was intrigued by the other’s recent kills, he was in no way impressed.
A single blue eye scanned over the corpses carefully before pallid digits wrapped around the hilt of his katana, unsheathed it, and lightly jabbed one of the bodies with the tip of the blade. Such a kill would attract the mushi in no time flat if the bodies were not properly disposed of. But— Sho elected to keep that bit of information to himself. After all, it was quite fun watching others react to swarms of lowly demons.
❝ While I am willing to admit that I always find myself attracted to the aspect of death, I hardly believe that this is an act of fate itself. ❞
True, her methods and ways of killing these men were messy... it was not of her concern about the cleanliness of the act. Brutalism begets brutalism. These men wish to underestimate her and brutalize her body? They in turn had a rather brutal fate befall them first. However, there was an unexpected visitor. And one that seemed all too comfortable and familiar with death. Perhaps one to even be a cause. But it still did not warrant her to even look at the man. Her eyes merely catching a glimpse of the shining blade to pierce one of her... victims.
"If not for fate, perhaps you believe in coincidence? Chance?" Most people do. And it seemed this... man was no exception to it. "It matters not what you believe in the end. The result is still the same. You were brought here, whether by fate or simply by your own two legs. And now that you are here, would you care to answer a question for me?"
