the moment they completely, without a doubt, fell for each other

they’d seen each other before, exchanged brief looks. in the previous episode, they engaged in a bit of small talk. but that was it, they didn’t know each other. sure, there was physical attraction. sure, they were both infatuated and incredibly intrigued. but when they met up in this scene they were still simply giving this, them, a try. because, again, they didn’t know each other. they didn’t know if they had all these common interests, they didn’t know talking to the other would feel so incredible, so effortless, so liberating. they didn’t know it would feel like they could talk to each other for hours and hours and hours. they didn’t know being around each other would feel like home

but this was them getting to know each other, truly seeing each other for the first time and although they already had this idea of each other that they both liked, this was the part that confirmed everything. this was the part that sealed the deal. this was the point of no-return, the moment that transformed infatuation into something else entirely. the moment they both knew, consciously or subconsciously, that their heart wasn’t their own anymore

OKay, but Sonja clearly believes this is a face Even is going through that is why they went on a break, why she kissed him at the party, why he feels like she controls him because she told him what he was feeling for Isak was a phase. It wasn’t love. And now she is telling Isak Even doesn’t love him, because he is Manic so everything he does is temporary as long as it seems exciting at the time. And I’m pretty sure Isak will believe her and is unsure how to deal with the fact that Even is manic to begin with. Plus we have no idea what Sonja will tell Even when she gets him from the police station. She might try to tell him again that it’s not real. It won’t work out.
