Could you please list (or re-list) similarities between your OC and Taliyah? This incident between the two has peeked my interest but it looks lkke Riot removed your post where you contacted them directly and I cant view it any longer. I would just like the details again please as I may have found another similar instance and want something to compare it to, that and if they did indeed steal details from you it should stay public.

Tbh I would rather just leave it alone; Riot has made it clear they give no fucks and that ‘legally’ they have done nothing wrong so…

If you want the similarities here where they can’t delete them, fine, I guess.
But keep in mind as her concept has changed I have removed and replaced everything on the interwebs to match her new design(s), so (as has already been pointed out to me) I s'pose you just have to take my word for some of these things.
Most ‘similarities' were indeed posted around the time a champ would have hit the Thunderdome for Taliyah’s release, and many still remain posted.
Rhea was originally a Shuriman mage who sided with Noxus to overthrow Azir. I did change her nationality to Ionian (and her lore to fit) shortly after this blog was created, however.
Both have served in the Noxian Military regardless, which is odd for anyone not of Noxian descent.
Both control the earth and stone of Runeterra.
They are (and this is not a complaint at all, I am glad to see different ethnicities portrayed in games for once) women of color, with identical complexions and similar facial features. Hair color, length, and styling (with the exception of Taliyah’s fabulous headdress) are the same.
So… WOC 'earthbending’ mages (who both originated, at first, at least) from Shurima and who both have served in the Noxian military. Might not seem like much, and might not in fact be much, but these similarities are just enough to prevent them having to pay me for my design if I submit it, yeah? If I try to offer them Rhea now, everyone will point at Taliyah (who was shared 3 years after my character was).
I will however give kudos to the lore team for creating a great backstory for the Stone Mage. None of that was my doing (minus perhaps her origin and inclusion in Noxus’s military?) and I quite enjoyed reading about her.
Before I start I would like to point out that my timing was FUCKING FABULOUS in redoing Rhea’s kit: maybe two weeks before Riot’s announcement on Taliyah’s release I scrapped her original kit and posted an updated version that I felt fit together moreso than the old one. I do, however, have a copy of her original kit saved to my desktop so here ya go.
Literally gonna copy and paste the original abilities and anyone who wants to can go compare, if ya’ll even care to. The ones that had me simply staring at Taliyah’s kit like “…….” are in bold.
PASSIVE: STONE WILLRhea has two fighting stances.1:Rhea enters the Offensive stance, gaining bonus movement speed and ability power that scales as she levels. Her basic attacks are rangedand leave earthen remnants (Max 3 on the map at a time) that grant Rhea slight movement speed and vision of enemies over them. Her basic attacks cannot be canceled once she has started them.2: Rhea enters the Defensive stance, gaining bonus armor and magic resist that scales as she levels. Her auto attacks become melee, and herfirst basic attack against a target knocks them back a short distance (200 range) and stuns them for .5 seconds. This effect cannot occur against the same target in a 5 second duration.Rhea may opt to change stances every 8 seconds by holding the ALT key and auto attacking an enemy.
REMNANTSMovement Bonus: 5/10/15/20/25%Remnants remain on the map for eight minutes, and there may only be ten at one time. Grants Rhea movement speed when walking over top of them, along with vision on her minimap of enemies that do the same.

When the effect of the spell is complete it leaves an earthen remnant on the ground, granting Rhea bonus movement speed and slight vision of enemy movement over it.
R GAIAN GRIPRange: Global. I’m not going to get into her stat scaling atm (mostly because my computer is an arse and crapped out on me a few days ago and for some damn reason the file won’t open). Rhea was meant to be a tankier support/mage, with the ability to utility top/mid/jungle if someone had the patience to play around the laning phase and utilize her for teamfights.
