Well, this is definitely the fastest I’ve ever drawn a three page comic. It probably shows.
Community is just super important to me I guess, and I think it deserves a better sense of closure. Also, I drew the characters from memory, so that’s why they look… like that.

The Problem With The Big Bang Theory...
I’ve been meaning to post something about The Big Bang Theory for a while now but it’s taken me ‘till now to really understand what it is about the show that makes me uncomfortable. I’m not exactly a believer in the whole “only write about the things you like, don’t trash the things you don’t” trend which seems to be plaguing comments sections in negative articles lately, but I wanted to be able to really examine why I don’t like TBBT rather than just slagging it off. My main questions being - Why don’t I like this anymore? Why do I feel uncomfortable watching it? And why do I get so annoyed when I see people sing its praises online? The thing which really sparked this post was seeing a raft of comments on Facebook, below the last round of voting in Television Without Pity’s Tubey Awards, claiming The Big Bang Theory to be “the best comedy on TV”. This made me angry so instead of posting an impulsive comment calling out their bad taste which I’d probably regret later, I decided to really analyse why seeing comments like that made me so mad when previously, although I didn’t really love the show, I’d never considered myself as disliking The Big Bang Theory.
Hell, I even have season one on dvd, it’s sitting right between Battlestar Galactica and Bored To Death in my alphabetised collection.
And here, I think, is where my problem with The Big Bang Theory lies…

Weird eyes (Part 2)
What happens when you work hard? Well, I don't know about you but when I was growing up, it meant rainbows would appear, candy would come bursting out of the ground and there'd be people smiling and congratulating you on a job well done as you roll down a carpet made of clouds on a skateboard made of ice cream when you succeed. In fact the picture of success is made up of a bunch of prepubescent middle school children who leer at you and think of the most obvious reason for your success. It's because he studied too hard, damn him! It's because he paid attention in class and is actually interested in this stuff, the bastard! It's because he cheated, oh what heinous crime! But no, none of those obvious reasons, we must think harder and more logical! It must be some kind of scheme that makes him all knowing and evil! His eyes are weird! So there was no effort on my part and my weird eyes got me all the answers. Do they have x-ray vision? Can they hypnotize the teacher to take the test for me? But it had nothing to do with working hard does it? I was born with it. But if I was some kind of genetically altered super child, shouldn't I be more awesome? I mean where's my super strength and flying abilities? Where's my ability to climb on walls? At least give me the body of one of those statues in museums. But if it was just knowledge, why the hell would they waste such resources on middle school math? Where's the cure for cancer in my privileged mind? Hey who knows, there's only one person with weird eyes like me right, not like there's billions. Of course it would be a shame if I ever got credit for anything as smart as I am with my weird eyes. Oh wow look at that, you got one point higher than weird eyes, you must be a hero among heroes and this victory somehow counts while the many other defeats do not cause hey, he has weird eyes. The real underdog has won over the weird eyes! The world is right again! Let there be rainbows and candy bursting out of the ground, let there be carpets made of clouds and smiling faces and ice cream skateboards! Now let's write an epic about you for others to remember for years to come.

I Don't Know (Part 1)
Since nobody really reads this might as well vent here. You know, I get asked this question a lot. I get asked more than I really should be asked. Everybody who asks this seems to think they're the only one who has ever asked me. Simply "what is it like to be Asian?" Anyone who has ever met me knows that I always give an answer as long as it leans one way or another which is almost all the time. I don't like answers like "It depends" and they just cut off without explaining. I don't like not picking a side. I will always give an answer even if I agree with it only a little more. It's not in my nature to give people incomplete answers, but whenever I get asked that question when I was younger, I simply said the worst answer of all... "I don't know." The fact of the matter is, I simply didn't. I didn't know I was so different from others that I became an entirely different being to them. I didn't know that others were thinking that I functioned differently as a person. I simply didn't know that. I always thought I was a normal kid who always looked forward to recess and never dared miss my Saturday morning cartoons... I never even thought of that question before, yet I got asked that so many times. They ask that as if it were a simple question... I mean are kids supposed to think that? Aren't kids supposed to have fun with friends and color inside the lines? Are they supposed to be self aware? Were we supposed to look at ourselves and reflect on how we fit into this world? I thought we already were supposed to fit no matter where we went. I thought as kids, we had nothing in the world to worry about. Yet here I was always stuck with this question about what it's like to be me? Why? ... I simply don't know. Well thanks for listening to this rant... or not, well whatever have a fun Christmas.

Wake up, go to work, another day gone Wake up, go to classes, finish homework, another sleepless night 7 days a week, always active, we grind, another day, another struggle Why do we do this? Another task, Another errand, Another Crash! Why do we do this? Because we are told that we are young. We are invincible... "If I were your age, I'd take on twice as much work as you!" Twice as much work? Twice the needs Twice the pleasure, Twice the adventure, Twice the fun! On the third day... order comes back The order of routine But you know what? For three days, we are invincible! Just a little something about having fun. The world likes to take away all our time so we can work on menial tasks for some people we probably won't even like if we met them in person. I really wonder when my time will come when I choose money over fun, but for now I still don't see the point parents are trying to make. Anyways, this is my second attempt, hope I get better
